Remove Bees and Wasps

I have used Senate services for 2 years for moles and pest control. This service was for a wasp nest under my top gutter. The service was done quickly but I thought the price was a bit high for the service provided. The techs are always friendly but scheduling is something of an issue. Still a satisfied customer.

Jon lovitt was exceptional, going above and beyond in a pouring rain to kill and remove 4 hornet and wasp nests. His interpersonal skills were as excellent as his work ethic. I highly reccomend him.

I researched the available companies in my area prior to selecting Senate. I knew I required something more than mere traps/bait/poison as I had other companies come prior and still had a mouse problem. The technician was very polite, listened to what I had experienced and knew right away where the mice were hiding in my home. They also went out of their way to help me with financing and reassured me my problem would be solved.

I had quarterly inspection for mice and then treatment of windows, doors and patio for ants. Every technician I've had has been extremely professional and thoroughly explain what they are doing. This visit the technician was Don. I've had Senate for two years and am very satisfied with their quality work.

Don was very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave me advice on rodent prevention for the future. He also answered questions I had about my next issue, pantry moth eradication. Again, he was very informative and answered all of my questions fully. He even gave me a couple moth traps to put out in the meantime. Excellent customer service!! I recommend you ask for Don/Donald for your Senate appointments.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
