Warranty work NOT performed after 3 months of waiting. Outside waterproofing and excavation completely failed and they will not come back to fix it. They keep calling for payment for work that either hasn't been done or was done incorrectly. They did manage to put up expensive carbon fiber, which I did pay for and just have to pray was done correctly and works since I don't know very much about that. I have emailed, called and will soon make a personal appearance to try to resolve this huge problem. They promise they stand behind their customer and talk a good game, but when push comes to shove, they are silent. I know my job is small and won't net them a lot of money, but I deserve the service they promised as much as the next person. I was patient for over 2 months, but it's gotten ridiculous with excuses and not contacting me. They let a rented bobcat sit in my driveway for almost 2 weeks. As soon as I complained the excavation needed fixed, they came and got it the same day. If they can waste that kind of rental money, they can write off the rest of my balance! I've paid over $11,500 for a job that is less that sub par. If I could give them a lower rater than what's listed above I would. Save yourself time, money, frustration and your house/yard in a constant state of disrepair and find another company!!!!!! I am gladly sharing my phone number below. MAYBE they will actually call me......update:..After a rough start, the work quality has improved. Dimitrius did a great job correcting a problem caused by a previous employee. Joe Campbell has stuck with me through thick and thin. Today, he and Jeff came to complete the warranty work. IÂ’m very hopeful the next year passes with no problems so I can refinish my basement.

I was told they would be digging by hand, they said I should not have been told that, they took my fence down, and I lost 2 plants.

It has been 4 years since we first contracted with JES to encapsulate our crawl spaces. At the time, I wrote a fair review based on the appearance of the crawl spaces. Since that time, we have had mice and broken humidifiers. At first, JES agreed to replace the humidifier and asked me to modify my review in 2014. After the second dehumifidier stopped working this year, we again noticed a large colony of mice and mold. We have now had three real encapsulation services look at the crawl spaces and give us their assessment. Bottom line, JES may be good at basement sealing, but they have no business holding themselves out as a crawl space encapsulation service. To name a few of the improper practices, they did not seal the crawlspace (including the vents), they improperly installed insulation on the crawl space subfloors rather than installing wallboard insulation, and the humidifier was improperly installed. I am also informed that they used Home Depot grade vapor barriers (meaning less than 8 mil) and did not provide a proper overlay between the sheets (e,g, on foot overlay). I could go on, but you should not contract with JES to do a crawl space encapsulation. We now have to contract with a real encapsulation company to remove everything and do it properly.

I met with Christian Distler-Caravetta and he is simply the best. He provided us sound recommendations on what we needed done and supported us throughout the project. I had gotten 3 quotes for the job of raising our old house and the other 2 guys didn't even go under the house to do measurements. The prices were extreme to say the least. But, JES was the better choice and mostly because of Christian. Once the work crew showed up I saw a very professional team that worked confidently together. We were very impressed and we will use JES again.

They were very friendly and the customer service has been great. They initially quoted higher than another company but were willing to match prices. I chose them because they came with better recommendations from friends and seemed to have better customer service. The work is great. They come back periodically to apply additional lift to the house.
