JES Foundation Repair

I was ecstatic with the results. I received a text message every morning on their arrival. There was no disruption on everyday life. The team was more than courteous,, always checked in on progress and what would happen that day. The foreman listened to my concerns and acted accordingly. Everything that was off-kilter was professionally fixed and the floors I had the greatest concerns about were fixed with no damages. They explained all the risks but the care taken eliminated them. I now have stable floors that reach the baseboards and it looks great. I believe the team took extra time and care to ensure more than satisfaction. I am ecstatic with the results, and now with the JES guarantee, I will not have to worry. The team cleaned up the site and the yard does not look like they dug up for the extension of the downspouts. Initial inspection was great. The inspector thoroughly looked at our problem, walked us through the process of repair, and explained the price. After the permit approval process, JES sent a team out in December 2023 to apply the necessary fixes. The county inspector came out the next week and failed the work done because the wrong type of screws were used and the sister joist were not properly sitting on the ledge. Another team was sent out January of this year to fix the mistakes. When the workers arrived, they were not properly told about what needs to be done. They were only briefed about the screws and not the sidter joist. I had to tell them why the inspection failed and what the inspector said needed to be done. After calling there supervisor to confirm, they had to go out and buy the wood for the job. The inspector came out a couple days after and again failed the work done. The workers did not replace all the screws and one of the sister joist was cut down the middle making it useless. After a couple of weeks of calling to find out when JES will fix the mistake again, i was told they have to resubmit plans for approval. I was also told another team would come out to fix the mistakes but on the day of the appointment, noone showed. What seemed like a fairly easy job has turned out into a fiasco. For the amount of money paid, I expected to the work to be done the first time.
