I was doing a remodel of my large basement room and thought it might be wise to have my foundation inspected since I was ripping everything out and starting from scratch. I contacted JES and my sales person Dieter who came out for the appointment was a wealth of knowledge. He was able to help me identify that a large part of my floor was dipping down nearly 3 inches. Dieter helped me to determine that it was worthwhile to raise the floor up with a Poly Foam service. He was fantastic in providing me with the necessary information, never making me question whether or not I needed this, his genuine approach gave me the confidence that this was the right decision. Steve was the technician who came out to complete the job and I have never met a better, more friendly and more positive person in any customer service situation I have been in. He was absolutely great at completing the job, but also in his knowledge base as well. He helped me make sure I had the poly foam where I needed it by letting me know why I had the issue in the first place.. I would highly recommend using JES and request Dieter and Steve to work with. They are awesome!

Be VERY CAREFUL with this company. They contracted to complete several repair/rebuild projects upon my basement, with a finish date of OVER SIX MONTHS AGO. About 1/4 of the work has been completed so far, and the quality of several repairs is shoddy and careless (one example, the PVC outflow pipes attached to the sump pump extend only about 12" from the exterior of the foundation, meaning that water that will be pumped out of the basement will be deposited right back up against the cellar wall, rather than 6 or 8 feet AWAY from the foundation). There has been property damage, inability to handle municipal permits, and an astounding level of non-responsiveness. If you decide to hire this company I would strongly recommend that you construct your contract with them with extremely clear and specific timelines/deadlines, and ensure that you are protected by language which stipulates that JES will accept responsibility for property damage.

JES lifted and stabilized the addition to our garage (we call it "the hut") the foundation of which had settled, causing the addition to begin to pull away from the garage/house. JES removed two 4-foot boxwood plants (replanting both, one in a different location at my request, when they were finished with the stabilization). They had to excavate to solid ground - approximately 7' down - to place their equipment at the base of the hut's foundation and then lifted the hut 1" to close the gap, and installed 5 foundation piers. The JES employees were courteous and informative. They laid plastic to prevent the excavated soil from ruining the grass and brick sidewalk. Several "points" in the hut's brick wall were installed for ease in determining that the hut remains level.

My cracks are not settling cracks there is a clear break in foundation outside causing the cracks and uneven floor not allowing my doors to close.

Scheduled service for encapsulating crawl space 1 month ago and they have yet to complete. I was given a scheduled time frame of 3 days. Left large packet of materials on lawn for > 1 week which in turn killed all the grass as well as, broke and removed porch skirting panels which remain unattached. Unacceptable, unreasonable time management, inadequate person to person communication among their crew members to accommodate my professional capacity due to their initial cancellation. As for the quality of service that is yet to be determined...

JES inspected the void, showed me how they would fill it gave me a complete work-up, including cost and schedule up front.  Everyone at JES knows their business and they are all absolute professionals, well above and beyond my expectations.  When Alex Pastella and Sean Hook showed up exactly on time to do the work, my wife and I were confident the job would be done right.  We were impressed when they knocked on the door in just 45 minutes and showed us the results.  Alex showed us the finished product and explained how the JES 5 year warranty worked.  Having talked with friends who are going through costly basement repairs now, the $1,500 paid for this repair is an excellent investment, highly recommend calling JES if you have any questions or concerns about your foundation.
