Concrete Leveling Services In Your Area

"The people over at JES Foundation Repair was able to diagnose and repair the issue I had with a large crack on the side of my garage. They discovered that the crack on two sides was caused by the ground underneath sinking causing the corner to drop. Once they dug up the two sides and saw that the builder of the house had skipped one of the concrete slabs which left no support for the corner of the garage. They were able to resolve the problem by using 6 push piers and added concrete with metal rods to reinforce the structure. The team that did the work (Jose Rodriguez, Henry Ayala and Jesus Baires) has great skill and integrity. I would definitely hire them again to do the job!"

Frequently Asked Questions

What does mudjacking cost?

Mudjacking a concrete slab foundation costs between $550 and $1,350 in most cases. Expect to pay $2 to $8 per square foot.

Common price variables include the size and type of surface, as well as the exact technique your contractors use. Ask for an on-site evaluation to get an exact price.

What's the difference between mudjacking and foam jacking?

The biggest difference is that mudjacking uses concrete-cement mud mix, while foam jacking uses a polyurethane foam solution. That leads to 4 differing results.

  1. Less expensive: $2 - $8 per square foot
  2. 5- to 10-year longevity before the concrete sags again
  3. Slightly invasive: requires drilling large holes in the concrete
  4. Best for non-loadbearing concrete and driveways

Foam jacking:

  1. More expensive: $10 - $25 per square foot
  2. More permanent: can last indefinitely
  3. Less invasive: smaller holes in the concrete
  4. Best for loadbearing concrete like home foundations

How long does mudjacking take to dry?

Most mudjacking mixtures take between 1 and 8 hours to dry. The exact time depends on the mixture, whether the concrete is loadbearing, and the size of the job. Polyurethane only takes about 15 minutes to cure before it's fully loadbearing.
