I would have better off hiring pizza hut to do this job. They have botched every aspect of my project except selling me on it. I had a pool of water in my back yard. The estimator said 2-3 months, it took them 6. When they came out I was told they 'messed up the drawings' and had to come back another month later. The plan was to install a bigger sump and pump,they installed the EXACT same size pump and pit I already had. I complained up the management tree so they told me theyd give me 10% off, everytime they called they wanted to charge me the same amount with no discount. I continued to ask, and they would say theyd find out, only to call back a month later and do it again. Finally, after almost a year of thinking I was done with them they call and say they messed up the permits and need to come back out. Asking me to take another day off for them to come out. The lack of communication and lack of accountability is mind boggling. Ive never written reviews, I usually just accept it. But this company is some trash. I hope you read this whole thing before hiring them.

Easier than I imagined. After the initial consultation they kept in touch with us via email and phone and communicated every next step prior to implementation They took care of all of the county paperwork too. The project itself took 5 days and the foreman was very informative and answered every question and took precautions with our windows and HVAC unit. They even worked through the rain and afterwards they cleaned everything up.

100 year old house with additions in the 50s and 60s created complex foundation. Three visits to conduct engineering design. JES did good job explaining every step in the solution. Crew did a great job. Clean up was thorough.

Although the work done and the crew demeanor were excellent, JES had failed to obtain a plumbing permit beforehand as required by the county. Recommend anyone contemplating work obtaiin all necessary permits BEFOREHAND! We were in limbo for a month waiting for the permit and inspection. After the work was done, the inspector refused to inspect until the plumbing permit was obtained. JES demanded partial payment and we could not use the back half of our basement for about a month.

We were very happy with JES, they were professional and punctual. I would however not recommend their subcontractor for drywall repair after JES work. They were rude, did not show up on time and never even introduced themselves. So in conclusion: loved JES, but get your own drywall repair contractor.
