JES Foundation Repair

Very professional employees. Worked hard and delivered results as promised on time. Robert, Mark, and Sam did a great job!

We were flooded twice in ten days during July 2018. Through recommendations from others who had similar work done, we contacted JES. Todd Simmons, the field inspector, came out in August to assess the situation. He was very professional and explained what needed to be done to keep the flooding from occurring again. His no nonsense approach was refreshing. The work could not begin until October due to the volume of calls they received throughout the summer and early fall. Our project was done over a four day span beginning October 29th. The supervisor of the project, Demetrius, has been terrific to work with. The foreman of the crew was Joe Lewis. Brian Swain, Cody Crenshaw, Rudy Gonzales and Wesley Smoot did an incredible job of installing a system that has kept us dry throughout the heavy rains since the work was completed. It is a disruptive process, but Joe made sure things were done right and explained what they were doing throughout the job. As with any large project, issues arose that needed attention. Nicole, Jamie and Heather who are in the office, were extremely helpful in responding to concerns that surfaced during the scheduled work. Jamie helped with securing the final inspection and we are very pleased with the quality of work and the crew that installed the system. It is not an inexpensive project, but we feel that it has been well worth it. JES has a reputation of doing quality work and they stand by their installation. We definitely would recommend them for waterproofing needs.

These five stars are more specifically aimed towards the excellent emergency carpentry work of Robert F. and Mark G. Not only did these two men find problems that were overseen, they went out of their way to resolve them so that the foundation and sub-floor was secure. Courteous, neat and knowledgeable, they thoroughly explained the work needed while they performed a last-minute job. Oh, did I mention that they fought through holiday traffic on the Saturday 3 days before Christmas? Our hope is that they can return before the completion of this job to ensure that everything is done and done correctly. Well done Robert & Mark! Thanks!

Chris Green, Sherwarren Fleming, Chaunye Smith and Bobby Scott were an excellent team. They knew what they were doing and explained every step to us. They worked hard each day, and each person knew their respective role. Chris listened to our specific needs and adapted the work plan to meet our concerns with the water management in our basement. The work was finished on time and the crew cleaned up wonderfully.

Excellent work

Very satisfied with the work done by JES on waterproofing and cleaning out our crawl space. Everything was done when promised and in a timely manner. The crew, Alex Wilson, Will Draper, Mike Condello and Kevin Murry, were customer-focused and left the area better than when they arrived. We are already seeing the benefits from the work they did -- less moisture/humidity in the house and the room that stayed at 63 degrees was up to 68 degrees after the first night.

The entire JES operation is class act. From the quote, to contracting, to the installation - everything was smooth and professional. The installation foreman (Jessie) was great, and his crew Kenian, Alex, and Will were hard workers. They were all friendly, and everything was completed at or above expectations with no issues. I've hired JES twice. You might find cheaper contractors for foundation work, but you won't find better!

Had small cracks in corner of my dining room. JS came out in early 2015. Then in December 2017 crack got bigger, called Jess, they came out, made things worse. Could no longer close exterior door or open windows, those were not problems prior to Jess doing work, and was told by Eric they would no longer be doing warranty work. Also tried to force me to sign another contract. Would not recommend them at all. Check other references. I wish I had. I'm getting no answer from Mr. Waltz which I've left several messages. All I ask for is to fix my house which is what I paid them for.
