Reviews
Write a ReviewThey were great and very professional. They showed up on time and did what they said they would do. They were very understanding and informative. They were not pushy and gave us tips and advice on things that we could do to help us that would not necessarily profit them. They offered very conscientious customer service.
I had a sealed crawl space from a few years back, but at the time the company that installed it offered no dehumidification.  My inexpensive dehumidifier from Lowes died and so I wanted to invest in a high quality dehumidifier that really worked.  Humidity  was running at 55% to 70%. I called Scott at Dry Pro to order the Sani Dry CSB unit.  They were back ordered and my vacation conflicted with the delivery date, so Scott came by on a Saturday and gave me a loaner unit to use until I returned from vacation. Dani came on the scheduled date to install.  He was very thorough and detailed.  Installed and cleaned up well.  I called a day later with questions on humidity levels and Kevin in service was very helpful. Humidity now running from 35% to 45% on the "extra dry" setting. Great job, Dry Pro!
They did a superb job! We are really happy with the work.
Dry Pro did everything in a timely fashion, from estimate to execution. All their personnel were very professional, knowledgable and and great to work with. After they were done you could almost could not tell anyone had had been there! Within days of completion of this project we had a hugh storm, and it was very apparent  that the drain they installed was doing just what it was intended to do. We are very pleased with the wok they did, and would not hesitate to use them again.
Great, exactly the way I wanted with work done to high standard.
was able to set an appointment quickly that fit in my schedule. dry pro examined my crawl space, suggested a solution, drew up a plan and gave me an estimate. was able to schedule installation quickly. work done neatly, waiting to see if problems are resolved. so far, so good.
This was done in three phases: mold remediation and insulation removal, wood work repair, water proofing. The whole project was estimated to take about two weeks and they ended up finishing about two days early. AdvantaClean did the first part, and I will rate them separately. Dry=Pro first took care of all the wood structure repair, which went according to schedule. After that they came in and did all the waterproofing stuff. The price I paid came in exactly as quoted. While they were in my crawlspace doing the estimation, they accidentally detached a wire that set my burglar alarm off. I then decided it would be a good idea to leave it off while they did the work, which is a good thing because they took out a couple of additional wires during this install. ADT (alarm company) charged me $272 for the repairs, which Dry-Pro deducted from the bill. I also had my usual electrician (Bobby with David Long Electrical - HIGHLY recommend) come in and wire the dehumidifier and sump pump in. Dry-Pro has an electrician they use that charges $350, which is about the same that David Long charged. All in all, I have to have one of the best looking, driest crawlspaces in all of Charlotte. Was it worth $12,300? I don't know as I didn't send it out for bid. I will say that if we had another summer like last summer, though, I was at risk of going from a very minor mold problem to something much more serious and expensive. That's off the table now, which is definitely worth something.
I had the job done in August 2010 (don't recall exact date). However, immediately after completion of the job I notified the company I was concerned about the outside appearance of my house, as the foundation vents they had to saw in half to close had pieces of plastic and wire hanging down from them. I was also concerned I had seen black trash bags used behind the vents in closing them, as I knew trash bags were generally biodegradable and would not last long. The first company representative sent out agreed the vents were unslightly and said they would be replaced. Another representative came out after the dehumidifier took a long time to start draining water, and he corrected a problem with a drain line that had been installed stapled shut and said the vents should have been closed with a higher mil plastic and not the black trash bags I saw the installers use. He said someone would come out and redo closing the vents with the correct materials. After this was done, I still found several vents that had never been closed at all. The company came out a few more times and when I walked around the house for a final inspection, I found a vent that had been closed only with black plastic with no styrofoam insulation installed behind it. This was corrected on the spot and a month after the job was originally done, it was finally completed satisfactorily. Thus the negative aspects of dealing with Dry Pro was having to repeatedly inspect the work being done myself. I had to take off work several times to meet with supervisors at the house and twice they never showed up (once they left a message they could not make it on my home phone that I did not get until I got home; another time I was told they had decided to come earlier in day and no one called me). However, the bottom line, which is good, is that I got the type of moisture control I was looking for. Along the way I was assured by everyone at Dry-Pro that they were customer service oriented and that the job would be completed to my satisfaction, which it eventually was. I was told the problems with my job were brought to the attention of the owner, Ron Weatherly, and were being dealt with. I am putting my most weight on the positive fact that I have gotten the moisture control I needed.
From start to finish this is one of the best service experiences I have ever had. They were extremely polite, professional, and courteous. Not to mention, they did an exceptional, above and beyond, job. I highly recommend this company and will definitely call them again for any needs in the future.
Fantastic!! We had a large project involving other contractors, which they coordinated. The first crew to show up was the pier crew. They were very professional and personable. They explained everything from start to finish and kept me in the loop throughout the process. They leveled our kitchen, which had a large sag. The next crew to arrive was the encapsulation crew. They covered the crawlspace from top to bottom and installed a dehumidifier with a moisture meter we can read in the house. Our crawlspace is now the nicest, cleanest, whitest and largest room in the house! I take my shoes off when I go under the house now. It's so nice, because it's now a controlled environment and I can work under there without having to change my clothes when I come out. Moisture has been reduced from 83% to as low as 30%. This improvement with the mold remediation, new HVAC and duct work, and air cleaner created an allergy free environment in our home. It was by far the best home improvement we have made so far (and we've made a lot!!!). I definitely recommend this team and will use them again if needed for any future projects.
