Write a ReviewEverything was great until the install. The electrician they hired couldn't do the job. They also started before our scheduled time and were drilling a hole into my brick when I drove up. If they would have waited until I was home, like they were supposed to, they could have tried from the electrical box just inside the door. They determined they could not get power to the electrical box because of a wall. I spoke to the project manager from Dry-Pro. His solution was for me to hire my preferred electrician and Dry-Pro would reimburse me the difference if it cost more then what they would have charged for the electrical work. I hired Roby Electric and they had no problem running power from my interior electrical box to my crawl space. It ended up being $60 more. I emailed and called my contacts at Dry-pro for 2 weeks with no response. Eventually, I talked to someone on the phone and they said they mailed the check that day. A simple reply to my emails would have gone a long way. Instead I felt like they were ignoring and avoiding me. It's been a few days, and I haven't received the check. Maybe it will come today. They guys installing the vapor barrier cut all of my cables that were running under my house so I lost internet until Time Warner could come fix it. I'm not sure why they did that. The vapor barrier and dehumidifier were installed fine besides that. The foreman of that crew was very nice and helpful. The installation of the smart jack was the only part of the that went as I expected. The guy doing that was knowledgeable and professional.
[Member Name Removed] thank you for taking the time today to talk about your experience and how we can improve. I am glad that in the end we were able to get you taken care of and that the check arrived Monday. Thanks again for letting us serve you and your home.
The entire process was very professionally executed. Dry-Pro systems came out (David) and examined the crawl space, took pictures of the worst problem areas, tested the joists and support beams for moisture content and thoroughly explained their process for remediation of our problem. I was impressed by their thoroughness and I was confident that their proposal was a total solution backed by science that I could easily reference. The Dry-Pro work team assigned to my project ( Tony, Demario, & Jose ) were very professional and extremely friendly. They called before they arrived, arrived when they said they would and worked very conscientiously. They answered all of my questions and it was obvious they knew their business. I could also tell they enjoyed working for Dry-Pro so I think that says something about the company. This is very hard work but they kept a very pleasant attitude and the whole project couldn't have gone smoother. Tony pointed out that I had a slow drip under our shower drain and a drain line for our upstairs HVAC system had become disconnected in the crawl space. So I got a plumber and our HVAC guys out to immediately address these issues. They all showed up at the same time but it did not affect this Dry Pro team from getting the job done! They finished the job in less time than was estimated and I now have a dry and beautiful crawl space and I no longer have to worry about decaying floors, mold, etc. In the last hour of my project, a DRY PRO manager drove up to inspect the work and talk to me to make sure I was satisfied. You very seldom find great service like this so I am impressed. Thanks again to Tony, DeMario & Jose! You are all hard working young men of good character. God Bless You Guys!
Great! Professional work!
Jeramey made several suggestions and made many trips out to our home before we decided on this system to see if our issues could be resolved. We are very happy that the system if finally installed, it gives us peace of mind. Corwin, Cory and Travis were very courteous, and professional and it is clear they take pride in what they do. Could not have asked for a better experience. Thanks to everyone at Dry-Pro for making sure your customers are taken care of. From Office to Field it was a smooth transaction.
They installed a dehumidfier and lighting.
The slab crack was just filled, no stitch weld as per agreement. Then I noticed the grinding was not done and was left off the reworked quote. Seemingly my fault but initial quote grinding was there and then gone with the second quote. Yes my fault for not being more thorough with the contract but I know the salesperson knew it should have been there. After months of no floors in my home I just wanted it fixed. I was going to call but in re reading contract the grinding was not there. Now my husband and I are killing ourselves trying to finish the job they were supposed to do so I can actually have floors in my home. I made a big mistake hiring DryPro over others. They made me jump through a million hoops to get a quote. I recommend using a different company and VERIFY everything in your contract especially if the contract has been reworked several times. I blame the salesperson for not including the grinding in the contract as discussed. I am not better off now than I was when I found the crack. I would have been better off doing all of this myself, saving 3000, and I would have floors by now. Do yourself a favor and select another company.
They called me about 30 minutes prior to their arrival to make me aware of when they would arrive. The crew consisting of Trauls, Corry and Corwin arrived at their stated time. They explained the work they would be performing and checked to see if I had any questions. They promptly set to work and the job was completed in about 3 hours. The crew showed me pictures of the work that was done in the crawlspace and along the side of the house. They were very professional and a friendly group of guys. I appreciate their time and the great work that they did.
A recent evaluation of my crawlspace revealed evidence of prior standing water and a flexing floor underneath my master bedroom. I called Dry-Pro to make a comprehensive inspection of the crawlspace and foundation around my home because of their excellent reputation and scope of work. With evidence of prior water I wanted the assurance that the foundation hadn't been compromised in any way and that there wasn't any mold growth. Thank goodness, there was neither! Dan the design specialist was extremely thorough in his inspection, and carefully explained that during heavy downpours that water was most likely penetrating the crawlspace where the footings and walls meet rather than coming from moisture in the ground and that an encapsulation wasn't necessary, but a french drain accompanied with a couple of sump pumps would assure that any water would be captured and removed from the crawlspace. Once a system was designed, Dry-Pro made all the necessary appointments and inspections and kept me well informed at each step. They installed SmartJacks to stabilize the sagging floor joist. Foreman John and his team of Jerry and Orlando gave me a first-hand tour of the work, made pictures available for future reference, and tidied the vapor barrier where it had been separated before. I was quite impressed with how sturdy those steel supports look and wish I could have had the whole house built on them. Within days, the waterproofing began, with team Chino, Adan, and Gerber. They worked all day cutting in the drains and carrying gravel from the truck, then upon completion thoroughly gave me a walk-through and pictures of the installed equipment. Chino informed me of how the sump pumps would work in conjunction with the drains, and what to do in the event the electricity went out or the alarm went off. The drains exit to the rear of the house and are buried so you don't even notice that they're there. I'm so glad that I chose Dry-Pro. Their professionalism and excellent workmanship has provided peace-of-mind with my crawlspace. They'll also be back annually to check the flow of the drains and clean the sump pumps. I couldn't have asked for a better experience with a problem that initially gave me such angst.

There was a bit of confusion, and this may have been on my part, surrounding what was encompassed in the full encapsulation. Hopefully I won't need to address having the insulation put back in the walls when it gets cold. As said, that could totally have been a misunderstanding on my behalf, just make sure you have all questions answered prior to the crew showing up. With that said, I wanted to say thank you to Rich for his responsiveness and also Cory (Corey?) and his crew that performed the encapsulation. They called to let me know when they were heading out, the crew greeted me and told me what they would be performing and how long they expected to be there. They were all friendly and polite. I let them know they could use the restroom if they needed to or just yell if they needed a drink, but they informed me that they weren't allowed to go into customer's homes. I work from home so they were right under my feet all day so I got a few laughs in listening to them work - they sound like a good group that work well together. Hopefully they all get big bonuses because I don't know how people go under crawlspaces for a living. Have you seen a cave cricket? :) I was very impressed with the job that they completed and I appreciate them treating my home with care. Now on to clean air and no more creepy, smelly crawl space.
