Reviews
Write a ReviewWonderfully! I am SO PLEASED with the work the crew did in repairing and stabilizing our chimney, which had pulled away from the house, causing large cracks beside the fireplace inside the house as well as a significant gap in the floor between the hearth and the floor. There are now NO cracks inside or out. Also we had notable issues with the main girder under the house which has now been fully repaired.
Jeff and Kelvin did an outstanding job of restoring the concrete slabs to alignment and filling the joints and cracks so that the result was almost as good as new, 12 years after original installation of the driveway. They went above and beyond to create a solution for an unanticipated challenge where the driveway concrete connected with tile and brick steps to the front door. They were able to realign/level the drooping brick and mortar step, while raising the tile to maintain alignment with the driveway--all done with minimal impact to the tile - quite a feat - and done with no additional charge.

Raul, Travis and Darwin worked very hard and completed the job quickly and efficiently, especially since it was super hot.
Jose, Tony and Demario did a great job over just a couple of days. It looks great, cleaned up, ready to go. All is working well, and I am very happy with their service. I was not thrilled with the partner company, Advanta Clean (separate review).
All went well until they ran into unexpected foundation damage the house had fell several inches. I was immediately informed and Madison gave a detailed description of what happened and recommendation most cost effective ways how to fix it. We agreed and they went to work. Madison, James and the crew went to work and completed repairs way above expectation I was very impressed. They removed the old foundation and installed a complete new one. I knew the work was very difficult because I was under the several times myself doing other repairs over the years very tight crawl space. I was most impressed how professional and respectful everyone was after being under the house all day. Travis and crew completed the water proofing and it was just what I expected .They also explained about foundations and how to keep them maintained and prevent very costly repairs. As the job was done Rodney ensured I was completely satisfied. Job Well Done! I am looking forward to insulating the crawlspace with the silverGlo.
I was initially impressed by DryPro.  Their quote was a little more expensive but they seems like a quality company and had good reviews.  Our experience with them was HORRIBLE.  To begin with, the salesperson told us to knock down a wall (taped out the area to be removed and drew a diagram in our contract) and we did that.  The following day the work crew came to install the drains and informed me that their salesman told us the WRONG wall and we would need the adjoining wall knocked down.  I requested that they repair the wall and they said they couldn't. Of course it rained that night and our basement flooded horribly.  DryPro came out the next morning, saw all the water damage and apologized, cleaned what they could up and promised they would take care of all the damage.  It continued to rain and their crew was "busy with previously booked jobs" and could not come back for WEEKS.  This resulted in A LOT of water damage in our house, us having to rent professional water removal equipment,  my husband not flying to florida for christmas with us since we could not leave the house and just a disaster.  We ended up going with another company (MoistureLoc- they are wonderful) and in the end DryPro's owner REFUSED to pay for any of the damages.  We sent a letter from an attorney and he also refused to do any repairs unless we signed a document saying we wouldn't sue them.  THE OWNER IS HORRIBLE and UNETHICAL and i DO NOT RECOMMEND them for anything!
First,  I admit I  created some of my own difficulty with this company by not getting other estimates first and not carefully reading the contract..  I chose this company quickly by reputation and signed a contract for foundation repair (rotten sill boards) and liner installation.  I then learned from friends that they thought the Dry pro quote was high and that I should check other bids.  I did that and then asked Dry Pro to cancel my contract or put it on hold(this was approx a week after signing and three weeks before the job) and refund my deposit while I considered my options. I called as early as I could after getting other bids to give them time to reschedule. I was told ok by the office worker and that she would inform the team.  I then get a phone call from the salesman  a few days later wondering what was going on.  I said I wanted more time to review bids but that I would still consider using them, just wanted to ease my concerns.  He said that I could not cancel without leaving my deposit with them (approx $1200) since I was past the 3 day cancellation period and that commissions had been paid and materials ordered.  Well this irriated me. The office said I could cancel and now I an informed otherwise by the salesman. Also I was concerned that their bid was high and that they might upsell just for commissions and this was a simple job with no materials needed unique to this job that they had to order..  I would also add I had quite a few unanswered or late email requests and phone calls as this stuation progressed.      Now to their credit they offered to price match competitive bids for similar work but that was not easy to do since they had a different scope of work than other companies estimates.  Also, to their credit their evaluation of my problem was very comprehensive and professional and I believe accurate.  In talking to the supervisor who handled my situation they are very strict about protecting their revenue stream and therefore very strict with their contracts (I get that).  But they had a breakdown in communication between their front office and the salesman/contract people that led to the hard feelings.    I had my foundation repaired by another company and used Dry pro to install my liner since they kept my $1200 and would not return it, only credit it towards future work.  That work was done well and on time.  One final issue I found ironic is that they will charge interest on late payment of the work but do not pay interest on the deposit they withhold. My experience:  Dry Pro does good work and is very comprehensive in their proposals.  They are probably the highest bidder.  ( at least they were for me)  They are very strict with their contract terms.  That's ok, it protects you and them.  Do your homework and get other bids first.  Read the contract carefully before signing but if you use them you can be confident the work will be done well.  Despite my irritation with them, I will consider using them in the future even though I checked the "no" box.  I will just do my homework first to make sure I am comfortable with their estimate.Â
The employees were very courteous and professional! The took extra care to prevent dust from getting on the furniture and carpet by covering it with heavy plastic! They even swept the patio to get rid of any dust or trash!
