Reviews
Write a ReviewChallenging job due to steepness of roof and round turret. Had some great suggestions to insure a great job. His crew was professional and courteous. Controlled debris when tearing off old shingles and did a thorough clean up after work completed. Brent is a professional roofer who knows his business,
The service was very good. They were very responsive. They were on time and the price was worth the service.
I had a leak in the kitchen that resulted in a 4x4 piece of the ceiling caving in, and another leak in the master bedroom closet with a smaller leak. I checked Angies list and B. Griffith Roofing had good reports and a lot of them. Brent came out the next day, gave me a written estimate of $1800 for repairs, $8500 for new shingles and $18,500 for new tile for approx 2200 sq ft. The tile roof is 25 years old but I went with the repair for now. Brent was informative, prompt, likable and presented me with copies of all his licenses and company information. I called the next day to have him do the work, he had me fax the contract and his crew came out the following day to complete the job. The crew was friendly, courteous and informative. They did find another problem area in the same section, had my fiance' go up to look at it and contacted Brent who than called me to authorize that repair although there was no talk of how much extra it would be. No sense in fixing one roof leak and not fixing the leak next to it. It seems when the addition was put on the house, the contractor didn't do as thorough of a job up on the roof, causing some of the issues. Had I known that initially, I would probably have gotten a new roof. It hasnt rained much so it's difficult to tell, but I'm confident the problem was taken care of. Thanks Brent!!
Great. Only knew they were at the house by looking at progress on roof. Small portion was not reshingled for the weekend, but was okay. Brent was very patient with my questions and did not hurry us in making a decision when we were looking over estimates from the different roofers. Always took the time to explain things.
They came out and did exactly what they said they were going to do. They finished the job is less time than they estimated. They showed up every day that they said they would. They did not ask for a bunch of money up front for the job. I was very pleased with the over all experience.
The work was done well. The men were nice, worked quickly and were professional. The quality of the skylight is very nice.
They did a very good job and we had no problems.
They did a good job. Overall am very happy with them. They were on time and they were very responsive. They gave me a very good estimate. I found empty beer cans in my truck and I think the workers put that in there. I did complain about it.
After not finding this customer in our system we contacted the city of St Pete. They informed us that this roof was installed by another roofer. We have contacted Angie's List and The homeowner and they are in the process of resolving this issue and removing this report from our page and onto the correct roofing company that installed this roof.
They were very good. They were prompt, their price was in the same range as others, and they were professional. I would use their services again.
Brent (owner) came out quickly and provided a detailed estimate, explaining all work involved. Crew of 4-5 showed up on schedule on a Friday to clean off old roof, before they left, skylight was replaced, dryer vent installed and peel n stick waterproof underlay down. Clean up was good, used tarps all around and cleaned up all debris. They weren't coming back out until Monday to put on shingles and it was suppose to rain. Storm was a bit stronger than anticipated, 30mph winds and heavy rain, causing roof to leak (no interior ceiling damage) - very apologetic, and sent someone out right away to check the underlay found it didn't stick in a few places (quick response time, and no damage done). Monday the shingles arrived and the crew of 3 began the installation of shingles and Cobra ridge vent. Roof is a beautiful color, drip edge matches house paint nearly perfect, looks like a great job. Final job higher than estimate due to damage wood replacement which was quoted as possibility on the estimate.
