Brent came out the week before the 4th and walked around the roof with me pointing out what needed fixing and gave me the estimate right there. His guys came out and worked all day on july 3rd and didn't finish but actually came back on the holiday and worked half a day to finish on the 4th.I was impressed they worked the holiday. Tough job in the heat right now, but everything is fixed now. I'm very happy with the job they did. Brent seemed very knowledgeable. I believe that I will hire him to do my roof when it needs to be redone.

Brent came out promptly and provided an estimate to replace our roof. I called him back a few days later and booked the job. His crew showed up right when they said they would, and on the first day removed the old roof and replaced a number of boards that were starting to rot. They also installed the hurricane straps, taking numerous photos along the way. On the second day another crew began laying the new shingles and doing some carpentry work on the structure of a porch roof that had received some water damage. They also removed an old chimney that was no longer used and installed ridge vents. The new roof looks great - we're very pleased with the quality of work that was performed. As a note to their professionalism: after the roof had passed inspection one of the carpenters stopped back by. He was concerned that there might not be the proper number of supports for the gutter in the front. So he pulled out his ladder and added  a couple more just to be sure. We appreciated his attention to detail, and for taking the time to make sure it was all 100%. We highly recommend B Griffith Roofing.

They came right out, day-of in fact. They were polite and considerate.  They were professional and did an outstanding job. They communicated well and got the job right the first time. They gave me an extremely great rate.

This group performed very well and I believe the value received for the price paid to be an excellent match.They did what they said they would do and did it when they said they would do it.Every day they cleaned up and gave me a progress report. There was some hidden wood damage and they repaired the damages quickly and with a reasonable cost for the carpentry and wood.In less than a week they pulled the permit, called in the inspections and had the final ok completed. They were not the low bidder.  The lowest bidder did not have a current good rating on Angies List so I check on a house they did near me and they did not recommend them.  The second lowest bidder had a decent score but Griffith roofing had better scores and there was not much difference in their pricing so I selected Griffith. I would hire them again and again.

I've been pleased with Brent, the owner, and the roof in general. I expect an error here and there and I expect it to be fixed, so in general I've been happy. The other two problems I needed fixed, it's been like pulling teeth to get them to come out and fix it, but they always came out and fixed it. However they've stopped responding to my phone calls and attempts to contact them concerning a new leak in the ceiling. If he would come out here and fix the problem, I'd keep using his service. UPDATE 5/30/12: Brent came out this morning and satisfied all concerns promptly, professionally and politely. I will not know if everything is fixed until it rains, but I am hoping everything is taken care of.

My experience with them was very good.  The pricing was on the low side. They did a good job all around.

They originally gave us a quote and about nine months later we called to start the project.  When we called a second time, we requested a new estimate. They insisted we did not need a new estimate and they would honor the original price.  They initially quoted us five hundred for each sky light but the final bill was seven hundred and fifty dollars for each. When I asked about the price, he explained that is the cost of each window and gave no flexibility.  He did a lot of additional work and discussed the work with me prior.  I was appreciative of that but he never discussed the price.  His work was good, he was nice, professional, and very responsive.  He also showed up on time. I feel the price was high for both materials and labor.  He originally quoted $9,100 but the final bill was around $13,105. I wish we would have discussed the exact price prior to the work being performed.

I could not be happier with the job done by Brent and his crew.  They were professional, meticulous and thorough.  I would recommend them to anyone.  I had a few lower offers from 'that other' list but the fact that B.Griffith had so many positive reviews by real people made me feel that I would get a professional job, and I did.  Thanks Angie's List for helping me find them!
