Brent Griffith explained to me that the source of the leak was around the chimney and the lack of quality work that was previously done. The roof shingles were not aligned correctly and the flashing was too low. In addition, Brent suggested that the wood should be redone around that part of the chimney to insure no leaks. Brent was patient, not pushy in any manner, professional and I could tell from my conversation with him that he was quality. Guys are professional, punctual, and reasonable. Bobby took the time to show me areas where there were serious issues in development but a little Preventative actions would derail some huge expenses. Our roofer left town, so we couldn't get him back to check it out. B Griffith did our son's roof, so we gave him a call. They were excellent. They came out immediately to check it. They said it was fine, it was an old leak that probably happened before the new roof was put on. He said the roof was fabulous. They didn't try to make up any repairs or anything. They are just great.

They took way longer than they said it was going to, but it doesn't leak and everything is fine with it. It also cost more than I had been quoted, but I was aware that there could be more rotted sheathing underneath that had to be replaced so they can't really know that until they start ripping it off. I was pleased with their work. He didn't call to tell me that there would be these delays, but he was nice and explained the job well, except that if he would have told me that this would have to sit for a certain amount of time and then we could come back and finish because of course I didn't know that.

Very prompt response to initial call for quote for flat roof repair. While working on the flat roof at the joint between flat roof and clay tile on the major part of home, found evidence of problems under clay tile. Home is 31 years old and clay tile was showing signs of age due to Florida's sun and rain. The materials under the tiles was cracking and many tiles were cracked too. Discussed costs of clay tile versus shingles with Brent Griffith. He was very honest that clay tile was going to be much more than shingles, and gave me a verbal quote of both. I decided on shingles. He provided us with several manufacturers' product descriptions booklets. All met the Florida Building Code 130 mph wind requirements. All the work was performed as quoted, especially the cleanup. Brent's crew left nothing on the ground. I noticed one of the crew cleaning my rain gutters, to get pieces of clay tile out. I looked around for nails the house after the job, but only found two. The magnetic collector used by Brent does the job. I recommend B. Griffith Roofing, Inc. to my neighbors.

I've used him both for a whole new roof on one house & a couple of leaks on this house. He's very professional, always calls promptly & does the work promptly! As far as the cost--I don't feel the need to shop around because I love doing business with him! I did learn 2 lessons. First, keep the roof free of debris & secondly, don't ignore a leak, it WILL get worse!

The price charged for the last job seemed to be okay. They show up when they say they are going to show up. They also finish the job when they say they are going to finish it. I didn?t have any problems with their work. They were great. Brent is the owner of the company. He paid the initial visit and the inspection was done as per his recommendations. His price was reasonable. I would definitely use his services in the future too.

Missed our first appt for quote but when he came out he took his time reviewing and explaining the problem. His quote was higher than the others but when we told him that, he matched the best quote. On day of service, they were prompt, polite, and cleaned up after themselves. Looks great and am confident they did a great job.
