After interviewing several companies I settled on Homespec. The general manager, Brian, came to inspect the scope of work. I found him to be very honest and straightforward. His quotation was the only one that included everything needed, including plumbing, electrical and city inspection fees. The crew was very professional and did a fantastic job. They covered the stairs and walls with plastic and cleaned up after they were done. The also installed a drain for the sump pump 15 feet into the back yard. This was covered back up and then covered back with the grass they took from the area. Needless to say, they did all of the work in the allotted time, even finishing early. If you are unfortunate enough to have a major basement leak issue like I had, I would highly recommend Homespec.

I thought that the people were great and the service was good. I just thought that the cost was pretty high (3600). My son had two septic tanks put in for about the same price.

From the sales representative, owner, foremen and laborers I found Home Spec to be knowledgeable, professional, skilled and very aware of authentic customer service. They were prompt and always responsive to my needs and questions. They demonstrated a level of concern for the structural safety of my home equal to my own. The crew/foreman were always polite and went the extra mile to ensure I understood the process and provided a tour of the job at the close of the two days they were working on my home,, pointing out important changes and any maintenance I might need to be concerned with, truly top notch! My home and property were always respected to the highest degree, in fact for a job which is difficult and challenging, the worksite (basement, yard and garage/driveway were immaculate! I am grateful for their skill and hard work and feel more than confident in the structural integrity of my home (better than the day it was built). My belief that work ethics and integrity still exist in companies such as Home Spec. They have my highest recommendation.

The entire team at HomeSpec was professional and did exactly what they said they would. The estimator was very detailed and explained everything we needed and what he was going to do in detail. Very Pleased!
