They left my basement a MESS. Vinyl flooring a year old was taken up and stack all over. Cupboards were not placed correctly. Due to poor workmanship I welhave to redo basement floor and re-position base cupboards. Where they cut paneled walls they just nailed 1X8 flashing. I will have to have someone come in and fix the mess which will cost more money and time. I would never recommend them to my worst enemy.

We have a 45 year-old home with lots of issues and we knew the foundation/basement had to be tackled first. Ryan and the HomeSpec crew were awesome from beginning to end. They updated our sump pump, tore out old paneling and ceiling tiles, and left the work area clean and tidy at the end of each day and at projects end. They were quiet, orderly, and courteous. We now have a dry basement, an up-to-code sump, and no mold! We both appreciate Ryan and his crew. Would recommend to anyone. Nan and Kurt W.

They went above and beyond a basic job, were very cooperative at every turn, even leveled out ground around the pipe they installed underground which was not so level before. I highly recommend them, but I did not check other prices for the same job, so can't really speak how price competitive they are. But I would hire them again.

The shortcoming is that they are not equipped to replace the drywall that had to be removed.
