Groundworks

Felipe and his crew did a great job. They were always very courteous and respectful to me and my wife as well as being respectful to my home by making sure nothing was damaged. I was kept in the loop throughout the process and Felipe always made time to answer any questions. They all worked extremely hard every day to make sure that the project was completed on time. I am very happy with the end results.

The workers were good and was happy with the salesman but was oversold on product workers said we don't need or do that and when talking with salesman he said we would. I think communication between salesman and people actually doing the work should be better and cross training on what is actually done instead of just pushing product. Very happy with the interior drain and new triple safe subpump. Just unhappy with unexpected costs during construction and not being told what we could do before hand to prepare for that costs. Seller should have explained better on what needs to be done before hand so we could do it ourselves instead of being charged on the back end to have them do it. Unneccessary expense because of communication.

They were prompt and efficient and very easy to work with. No surprises!

After the estimate, an engineer came out to verify dimensions and create drawings. When the workers arrived to install the new beam, the beam that was ordered was too short, the crew was confused about what work was to be performed, and they tried digging up my basement floor to install new piers, before I stopped them and informed them that is not the work that was supposed to be done. I was originally told it would be a one day project, which turned into multiple months before the project would be complete. The welds were very sub par, the work that was required by the permit was not completed, and the smart jack was installed crooked and with poor workmanship.  The crew even had to borrow tools and equipment from me to try to complete the work.  Photos were sent to the engineer, who had a junior engineer sign off and approve the installation, which was not acceptable. The city inspector failed the inspection and required them to come back out to re-do most of the work that was done. All the while, I keep getting calls asking for final payment, before the job is complete or even passed inspections. I will not be using Rod Martin's Complete Basement Systems ever again, and would not recommend them to anyone.

The company was very punctual throughout the entire process. We ran into some additional difficulties due to our drains were leaking in several places. This set back the schedule for our work, but the company did everything to meet my time frame. I was very happy with their ability to stay on time despite the additional work we needed to get done. They communicated very proactively.   Augustine and his crew were fantastic. They worked tirelessly on getting everything done as we had be promised. The crawl space went from a nasty muddy panic attack causing nightmare to a place that smells great and is free from mud, bugs, and odors. Augustine always called before coming. They were also very careful about not tracking mud through the house. The sidewalk crew that lifted the concrete to properly drain were very careful and accomplished a proper angle for draining. I was so happy to do business with them.

Work was fine. But salesman did a very poor job about explaining and getting things done for the workers to do there job in a timely manner

We've had their sump pump installed previously, and also had the crawl space insulation enhancement this year. They did an excellent job, superior service and a great guys to work with.

We were very pleased with the system that was installed. I liked the product they offered compared to other companies. There were 2 or 3 people here and it took about 2 days to complete the work.  The results are just awesome!

I haven't had the best experience with Rod Martin's Complete Basement Systems. I no longer deal with them. They were okay. He came out and did not keep his word. He supposed to come in and look at some other things and he didn't do it right. He never came back and did what he was supposed to. The were not punctual, but they were professional.
