Prompt service. Arrived at the time he said he would. Know what the problem was and took care of it immediately.

We called James for a washing machine repair in May '15 and a refrigerator malfunction today (July 1). Both times we called for service, he returned our call within 30 minutes! The first call for repair was on a Saturday morning. He was at our house to make the repair immediately! Today's call was early morning and he was there in ten minutes! He's prompt, knowledgeable and fair. His pricing for the visit and labor is reasonable and competitive with larger businesses. We will continue to call on James for future repairs.

McFarlane called me back within 30 minutes of my initial call, which was after hours. He came out the next day. Very courteous and efficient in his work.

Very impressed that someone so young is more than willing to fix our fridge instead of recommending replacement! While he was working on one, I mentioned we were having the same problem with our other fridge. By the time he left, both were working with functioning drain lines, and absolutely no need for replacement. James was confident, knowledgeable, and far less expensive than a new appliance. He's my new Appliance Guy. Not only will I be calling on him for any & all service, but I'll certainly be recommending him to friends and neighbors.

Refrigerator broke down on Saturday, I called around to different stores to try to get a new one delivered. The earliest I could get one was Wednesday. I decided to see about getting the broken one fixed and went online to Home Advisor. I chose Mr McFarlane because he had the highest reviews. Before I had even closed the web page, Mr. McFarlane had called me and made arrangements to come to my house first thing on Monday morning. He arrived, quickly diagnosed the problem and within a short period of time had the refrigerator running soundly. The price of the repair was about 1/3 the price of getting a new one.

Our oven stopped working, Mr McFarlane called us in the morning and came out the same day. He knew just what the problem was and brought the parts he needed to make the repair. Mr McFarlane is a very professional, knowledgeable and personable young man. We would definitely hire him again.

I had a probelm with my washing machine, which is not one of the more common brands. It is a Fisher Paykell. But James knew all about it and went about fixing it, and quickly solved the problem. He also gave me some good tips to prevent the problem from happening again. He also guarentees his work and will come back if the problem should reoccur.
