Reviews
Write a Reviewcontacted in June/25 for icemaker repair. sent a guy who in five min told me i needed a new icemaker and i told him to go ahead and order. paid $290 for the visit etc. and was supposed to be back in 2 days. never returned, told me they couldnt get part. I have contacted them repeatedly and they tell me my refund request is under review. rarely will answer phone and when they do they say someone will call back and no one ever has. this is criminial, DO NOT USE THESE GUYS, THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!
Hired them through Select Home Warranty. Told me I had to pay for additional parts not covered by the warranty. Nearly three months later, after paying for the parts, they still tell me that they are waiting for the parts. I think they are lying. I am filing a complaint with the Attorney General's Office and contacting 6ABC consumer help. Might even get my niece involved at this point. And yes she is a lawyer and a Consumer Protection Lawyer at that. This would be right up her alley...stay away from these guys. They take your money, promise to call but never do and leave you hanging.
They couldn;t do the job on time and said they would return my deposit.....never did....don't trust then
Stephen was knowledgeable, a good communicator and very helpful about next steps even though it meant the best option going forward wasn’t Bear.
We contracted with Bear Services LLC to replace our compressor in our refrigerator. We paid a deposit of nearly $800 in December 2023 and a technician came out. The technician informed us nothing was wrong with our compressor, and it needed a simple recharge. The technician also told us that because we did not need the compressor, we would receive a refund of our deposit. It is now May 2024. Since January 2024, we have been calling about our refund with no result or satisfactory response. The operator, Dan, has told us multiple times that the manager, James McFarlane, would need to review the refund. Well, it has now been over five months. Since the beginning of May, I have left a voicemail almost every single day asking for a return phone call. We began the refund process with the good-faith belief that our money would be refunded based on the representations of the technician and operator. Over 150 days later, we have lost all confidence in a refund.
Very responsive and professional.
I took the opportunity to get advice from someone who repairs them and would know, what should I buy as a replacement.
Very upfront and outstanding,
Angis List should remove recommending this company. The company came out and said one thing the next time they came out they stayed in another problem. I needed more money. The job I supposed to take three days and it ended up taking almost 2 There are multiple reviews like my own. This company is a fraud and you should stay away before youâ re scammed also
I was told upfront at first review that my washer was going to cost as much as a new machine to repair. I am very thankful for the truthful advise given to me by Bear Service rep. Stephen. He not only was he upfront about my washer ,he help me with advise on the replacement. I will use them if needed again!
