Anthony & Sylvan Pools

DO NOT RECOMMEND ? STAY AWAY We are now going on 8 months with this company, and our pool is still not complete. This has easily been the worst experience we?ve ever had with any contractor. Once they take your money, communication essentially stops. Our salesperson became completely unreachable, and getting any response was nearly impossible. The project manager was rarely onsite and did not properly manage the contractors at all. Major issues throughout the project include: ? Wrong tiles installed twice, requiring them to be ripped out and redone ? Poor communication about decking, causing multiple return visits ? Contractors frequently not showing up, despite being ?scheduled? ? Repeated delays with no valid explanation (not weather-related) We have been extremely patient, but we constantly had to follow up and push the project manager just to get basic progress. Even then, concerns were brushed off or ignored. We often had to repeat the same issues over and over before

Francesca was prompt for our first meeting. She listened to what I wanted, and she was great at designing something that would make the most of the small space in my yard. Her explanations were thorough, and she continues to be extremely responsive, answering VERY quickly. The process of getting started is moving quickly, as well.

Customer service at the beginning was great, the reason why we went with this company. First project manager was horrible but once Adam came into the picture he was on point and always answered questions within the day. At this point it’s been less than 2 month the pool has been built and there is cracks on the deck and slate lifting and it looks like the pool is detaching from the deck they poured. Right now there is no way I would recommend this company to anyone. We are not completely satisfied with the finished product.

Promised me a reimbursement check after a major repair ($1800) and never sent it. Does not answer emails or phone calls. Approved warranty work for pool repair, agreed to cover the costs and is now ducking the bill. Worst customer service pool company in Houston area.

This company is a joke, all they care about is getting their money and once you pay them then your project will never be complete. I am on week 31 now (as of 2/13) when I was promised a max of 14 weeks and my pool still is not done. The project manager will not reply to me anymore, the scheduling lady replies but is incompetent and cannot get anything done. I have a punch list of items they messed up on that needs to be repaired and nothing is being handled. If you are looking to get a new pool installed DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

our inground pool and spa was installed by Anthony and sylvan back in 2011. we have never had any problems with it ever. the construction, plumbing and electrical is flawless. I would highly recommend Anthony and sylvan pools.

The process is set up to totally benefit Anthony & Sylvan. They had 100% of my money 5 months before completion. My pool designer was excellent although many of the items we discussed and included were not completed until I constantly contacted Project Manager. One specific item never was done at all. The project scheduler did her job very efficiently - but again A&S procedures are not designed to benefit us. The project manager DID NOT LISTEN. He had little knowledge of construction (I had to point out broken electrical conduit so it wasn’t buried in broken state). They have different people handling each aspect of construction and often it felt as if there wasn’t any communication between them. When they got here they would ask me what the other person did or said!! The pool is great and A&S has been around for a long time which is why I went with them. I’m glad the process is over but feel as if I should have been on the payroll with all I needed to do.
