Rick Blatter and his crew were great to deal with. I give them 5 stars. I highly recommend them and would use them again.

They did a good job with building our pool and keeping us informed every step of the way. We are happy with the result.

A long story, but I would never use them again. Had them design and install an inground pool. The build process took about 4 times longer than told. They fired our project manager before the pool even went in and never replaced him. You can rely on any of them to do what they say they are going to do. Their su-contractors must be the bottom of the barrel because they were terrible. I had to make them redo the tile 3 times to get it straight and level- and it was way off... I came home one day to find the tile guys actually cutting the sides of the tiles crooked so they would line up with their uneven job. Their plumber subcontractor destroyed every part of my yard imaginable- even parts far away from the pool and lines- with their machinery. They basically had no respect for our property. I had to continue to hound the construction mgr and finally call the regional VP to get response from their employees. After finally getting the pool finished I thought the problems would be over. Nope. The pool has leaked a total of 6 times in the 2.5 years since install. The first 4 times it was the grout around the skimmer. They sent some tile subcontractor to fix it who I discovered on the 4th time it started leaking had not used the right material (should have used grout but instead smeared putty in the cracks). On the 4th time when the leak locator company told me that A&S still wanted to send the same subcontractor back out. I refused and made them pay the leak detector company to repair it correctly. Next we had another leak that took literally 5 - 6 months to get resolved. This time it was in the spa spillway. Each time I called they took forever to get back to me, told me it probably wasn't leaking, and that after the 2 yr mark I had to pay the leak detection company to come out. If the leak was under their warranty then they would reimburse me. Took several leak detector companies to find the leak, but once I did I had to wait, and wait, and wait for them to do anything about it. I finally decided to write a bad review on several sites. That got the attention of the corporate customer service rep. He was the only person who actually tried and succeeded to help me, but it still took a long time to get it fixed. I then removed the review. However, about 1-2 months later the same spot started leaking again! I send an email to both the local warranty manager, the warranty service lady, and the corp customer service rep guy. No response. I ended up having my pool cleaning company who also builds pools come out and fix the leak. A&S had someone smear some mortar on top of the grout lines between the tile in the spillway from the spa to the pool. My pool cleaning company cut out the old grout and put in new grout- the right thing to do. Conclusion: They may tell you they have the best warranty. Wait till you have to use it and then let me know how great it is dealing with these people.... They may be cheaper. You'll regret it.... They may tell you they will be with you every step of the way on the build. Haha good luck.... Find someone who is a quality builder. If you are in the Houston area I recommend Texas Pool Group. They clean my pool and they are the ones who did the repair correctly.

Went well. Had to stay on them at the end for the final walk-thru. Some small details were never corrected. Overall good job. Patio area floor starting cracking 3 months after completion. Its November 2021 and we are still fighting the warranty dept to come out and repair. Very disappointed.

I will sum up this review for those that do not want to read the saga in one word: RUN! I purchased a pool package from them about 2.5 years ago. The salesperson was great and the price... I do not know that I would call it great, but it was about $55k for a 12x24 pool with a raised spa. In the end, the pool was beautiful, but like most things, beauty is only skin-deep. To start, the build process was a disaster. They assigned us a project manager only to fire him about 2 days into the job and never replace him. I spent more time managing the job than they did. The dig and gunite were fine- no problems really. That is where good luck stopped. My pool design is where the edge is raised about a foot out of the ground. So, the pool looks like a raised flower box so to speak sitting a foot out of the ground and you can sit on the coping all the way around. The spa is raised above the pool about 1 1/2 ft and spills into the pool. I have white Carrara marble on the outer wall sides of the pool and white travertine as the coping. It took them 3 sub-contractors to put the marble on correctly- and by correctly I mean level - i.e. the outer sides of the lower box were not angled inwards or outwards from the surrounding deck but properly placed perpendicular to the ground and the coping so it forms a square bench-like edge around the pool. The first 2 contractors literally put the marble tiles on in all sorts of non-plume directions. I came home one day to find them even cutting the corner tiles angles so they would line up with each other. When I confronted them they acted like they could not understand what was wrong. I threw them off my property and told them to send someone with an elementary school level understanding of basic geometry. The 3rd tile people were good. They finally got it right but that whole experience took about 2 months of me supervising them without a project manager. It took in total about 6 months to finish the pool. They destroyed almost every part of my yard - even the parts not near the pool. The plumber used a small backhoe to dig a foot deep trench instead of a shovel tearing up everything in its path. Before they put in the french drains I told them **you either dig this by hand or you replace all the damaged sod and gardens**. They agreed but after the plumber of course did not do that I called the lady coordinating the sub-contractors and she refused to fix things quoting the contract. I had to call the main construction supervisor to get it fixed as promised. Once we finally get the pool finished and filled with water I thought our troubles would be over. NOPE. The pool has nearly continuously leaked the past 2.5 years. To add insult to injury every time I reported a potential leak the incompetent warranty lade, Valerie, said it was evaporation and blamed me- despite my yard overflowing with water. Their first and second and third response is **It is your fault. You are mistaken. It is not the pool** First, it was the grout around the skimmers. They fixed this 3 times over the past 2.5 years until I had a leak detection company come out and tell me whoever was sent puttied the cracks instead of grouting them as they should have. Upon learning that this had been improperly fixed I called them and they were going to send the same sub-contractor they sent the first 3 times, to fix it a 4th time. My response was **oh no, you are not. Why would I trust the idiot that did not do it right the first time, so they could try a 4th time?**. I made them pay the leak detection company to fix it properly. Unfortunately, that did not stop the leaks. My pool continues to leak- at a rate of about 1.5 inches per day- flooding parts of my yard. Find people who are responsible and actually oversee their work.

I was completely satisfied with our service and final outcome of our pool. The design fit perfectly with what we had in mind and we received a great deal compared to nearby builders.

We are so pleased with our pool, spa, and decking. The quality is fantastic! We chose Anthony & Sylvan because of their warranty and expertise and were pleasantly surprised to find their pricing was very competitive as well. The entire project went off without a hitch and there's not a single thing we would have changed, from design to completion. In addition, the work was done very quickly, and finished just about 10 weeks from breaking ground (we put the pool in during the winter, which helps). Best of all, they matched our existing travertine patio so well it looks like the whole thing was done at the same time. We're so pleased with Anthony & Sylvan and can't recommend them enough.
