DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. ZERO STARS. Signed contract August 2021. Excavation began November 2021. Everything started off ok until the last payment was submitted January 2022, which is the only way pool can be completed with this company. My design consultant had me down for tile around my raised bond beam however the company did not place tile all around and stated I never paid for it or ordered it. My design consultant was fired and could not verify so they wanted me to pay an extra $225 and would not go forth with my pool construction until it was paid. I paid remaining balance but was informed by my project manager (PM) that per his manager he would reimburse me if I gave them a good review. Come February 2022 my plaster was done and pool was filled and began to notice white discolorations throughout my plaster days after, which is suppose to be blue, even after adding necessary chemicals and constantly brushing. I tried for weeks to get ahold of my PM with no response to my messages or calls. Tried contacting main construction manager as well but no answer. Found out my PM was also fired from another contractor of the companys, which gave me the excuse that he was sick when confronted about the situation. It was not until almost a month later a scheduler informed me he was no longer with the company. I also had a pump issue March 2022 which forced the water in my pool to sit for 3 weeks further messing up plaster. Took weeks for a electrician to fix the problem after getting a call back from 1 scheduler after weeks of trying. Till today I still have not received any calls, messages, or voicemails back trying to address the plaster issue since the beginning of February 2022. There has been a complete lack of communication from the company with no decency for their customers investments, and would not recommend them to anybody trying to build a pool. My pool is still not complete and I am not at all satisfied with my experience with this company. It has been an absolute disgrace!

DO NOT BUILD YOUR NEW POOL WITH THIS COMPANY! RUN FAST!!!! Problems began from the inception! The scheduler told us the pool was being permitted for 3 months when it was not, just one lie after the next until I asked for the permit number with the city to check on it myself. THEN THEY FILED FOR THE PERMIT! 3 MONTHS LATER! The pool then got built, a very simple rectangular pool with a spa at the end BUT THE TWO DRAINS ARE COMPLETELY CROOKED AND THE IN-FLOOR CLEANING SYSTEM WAS NOT INSTALLED IN THE RIGHT LOCATION! The superintendent quit the day our pool was being filled. They told us the pool had to be filled with water for 30 days which started an onslaught of leaks! First they said it wasn't leaking and finally did a bucket test. They sent out leak detection which revealed a leak in the side wall as well as ALL THREE SCUPPERS LEAKING! So then we get the next superintendent who appeared to be sympathetic at first and wants to make the necessary repairs. He continued to want a 5 Star review as he tells us that he wants to be promoted and needs 5 jobs with 5 star reviews first. BUT shortly thereafter it becomes obvious that he is lacking experience and is learning on the job. It takes three separate visits for the repair company to fix the scuppers and the side wall pool leak! Then A&S customer service rep tells us in writing that they need to drain the pool, jack hammer out the drains and parts of the in floor cleaning system then reinstall those sections of the gun ite and re-plaster the entire pool! Of course, A&S wanted 100% of their money PRIOR TO PLASTERING THE POOL! There was no holdback allowance for the lack of having the heater here. After supply chain issues, they install the pool heater in September but then the superintendent realizes he has to have the gas line inspected and we need a new gas meter. We wait and wait for that and then he realizes he needs a final pool inspection before Centerpoint will install the new gas meter! We began this nightmare in February 2021 and it is now almost Christmas. Supervisors will not call you!! They hide behind the superintendent and empower the mismanagement of the job and poor customer service! The superintendent told us he would make all the repairs after Thanksgiving and yet when called, he tells us they must get their final inspection with the city first. They send the city inspector out twice without telling us and then blame that on us because our gates are closed and locked (we have dogs). Now more than six weeks later and after adding additional closures to our gates, he tells us today that we must have a loud alarm installed on our back door in order to get the final inspection and is dropping it off TODAY!!!!! Upon calling him, he blames us for the deficiency and hangs up on me! THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST AND THERE IS NO WAY IN THE WORLD THAT I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM. YOU WILL BE ADDRESSING ISSUES DAILY WITH THEM AND EITHER GET NO RESPONSE OR AN UNINFORMED ANSWER! THIS IS GOING TO BE THE MOST UNPLEASANT POOL EXPERIENCE THAT WILL REQUIRE FOLLOWING UP ON DAILY! CALL ANYONE ELSE OTHER THAN THESE GUYS. THEY ARE BAD NEWS! I am a Houston Real Estate Broker and will NEVER refer this company!

We love the pool. They did an awesome job. If they tell you 6 to 8 weeks to complete (weather permitting), you may want to double that time. We are happy with the end results.

Warranty is best in the business. Had to keep on the project manager to keep things moving along.

We signed a contract with Anthony Sylvan pools on August 8, 2020! We still have a cement pond in our backyard. This is the worst company I have ever worked with! Over a year to complete a pool? Ridiculous! They contract out every part of the pool build and no one from Anthony Sylvan is there to supervise or make sure things are done properly and they are NOT done properly! Do NOT use Anthony Sylvan, they should be so ashamed of the way they have treated us, but they've been paid 98% so why should they care? Please tell anyone you know NOT to use this company. they claim their customer service is the best. Read down after the first 3 glowing reviews to see how bad they really are. And they are not a 1 star either. They are a negative 10 stars!
