Innovative Home Improvements just finished installing new windows in our home. Our windows were the old metal casement windows that were 67 sears old, rusty, and didn't seal properly. IHI was recommended by Home Advisor, so we called Paul and he came out, showed us his window and gave us a price which was thousands less than other estimates we had received from others. Ed came out and took the appropriate measurements and, when the windows came in, he and his crew (Joe, Danny, and Troy) installed the windows in one day. Joe had a beast of a job getting the old metal windows out, Ed installing the windows, sealing and outside flashing, Danny doing the framing and installing the interior molding, and Troy making sure the job site was neat and clean. They worked without a break until the job was done and then Ed made sure that we were happy with the results and that the job site was clean before they left. They did a great job. Paul called after they left and made sure that we were satisfied and then came out the next day and checked the work and cleaned the windows himself. Now, that's service!

I have referred all my neighbors and friends to contact IHI for their new windows.

Paul's team carried out a very large project for my home, including tear down of a double-wide, two story brick chimney; installation of Hardiepanel, new window, and trim on the exterior in the prior chimney location; drywall and floor tile installation inside where the chimney was removed; window replacement on the upper level and front lower level of the house; and vinyl siding, trim, and gutter replacement for the whole house. Paul and his team were always highly professional: timely, careful worksmanship; complete clean up each day; good communication about next steps; consultation with the homeowner where decisions on design needed to be made. There were a few small hiccups in this large project (fewer than I expected given the scope), and Paul was always reachable and immediately responsive to addressing the issues to my full satisfaction. He worked with the home schedule, including two dogs, around delivery of materials and the dumpster so that things were disrupted for the minimum time necessary to complete the job. He was very respectful of the challenges experienced by homeowners around such a large job and worked consistently to support steady progress on the work - material samples for the architectural committee, submission of a timely contract, sensitivity to preferences of neighbors, ongoing communication about weather and associated changes in the schedule and status of materials, etc. I would highly recommend his company.

Innovative Home Improvements recently installed a new roof and new windows for our house, and we couldn't have been happier! We originally contracted them to put in new windows, but when we suddenly found ourselves in need of a roof fast, we talked with Paul, the company owner, and he and his team sprinted into action to accommodate our situation so we could have it done within a week. Throughout the two installation jobs, Paul was responsive, attentive, and very thorough in explaining the process to us. He was also upfront and honest on his pricing--no surprises. We would definitely work with them again on our future home improvement needs.

Paul is the owner and he was very knowledgeable and hands on throughout the entire process. I was even able to call him several times to answer some general window questions that i had when i got confused by what i was seeing on the internet or hearing from other sales people. The windows were reasonably priced, there were no high pressure sales tactics and Paul stayed committed to staying true to his word and installing before I moved in which was within 6 weeks. I would hire him to do any home project again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend.

From estimate through installation, we were very pleased. Because of the significance of the effort to replace 27 twenty-year old windows, we obtained 5 estimates from highly rated local window installers from Angie's List with a double check using Home Advisor. We chose not to go with the big classic providers such as Thompson Creek and Pella because of ratings and our perception of price overhead issues by the big manufacturers. 4 of the 5 estimates were very competitive on price with the 5th being 10% higher than the others and only provided a 3 year labor warranty. One of the estimates came from a contractor that did a great job roofing for a neighbor, but we found their window business was a pass through to a local window installer and their estimate process reminded us of being at a car dealership-too much BS about discounts, and talking to the boss and delay producing the estimate. We were most impressed with Paul Harrison's Innovative Home Improvements. With 5 estimates in 2 weeks, it was a crash course in double pane versus triple (we did triple), U-factor (.21 for us), SHGC (Solar Heat Gain Coefficient) (.17 was our choice), air leakage (less than or equal to .3 for us), argon-filled vs. krypton (we did argon), product and labor guarantees (lifetime for both) and expected longevity of provider in that context, choice of caulking (OSI H2U acrylic urethane quad caulk-avoids color change of just latex and doesn't have to be painted), different techniques for window sealing, grids or no grids (we went with grids) and visible transmittance (.35). What impressed us about Paul was that while he was aligned with a specific window provider, he did so because he had experience working with other products in the past and clearly explained pros and cons of different products. He also had the same windows recently installed in his own home. If we had decided that a different manufacturer was our choice, he would have worked with that product as well. In addition, he did not try to convince us to go for the most expensive or elaborate product-while he recommended double-glazed (or pane) windows, we decided based on our research and preference to go with triple pane. It was not a hard sell and he was very respectful of our time. Paul's estimate was immediate and he took credit cards which we also preferred (we like our airline miles too) with a 20% payment up front and remainder on completion. Part of the project was to replace 4 casement windows with 2 double hung larger windows, replace 2 narrow picture windows with a large picture window with "grids" to match a double hung window underneath it, and to fix a basement frame that had rot problems in the past. Paul's installation supervisor, Eddie immediately returned after we signed the contract to validate window dimensions and type. Paul had indicated 4-8 weeks for window manufacture and that was on target. Installation was projected to take 2-3 days and took 2 days. Eddie was professional and call

Paul is honest and fair. Mr. Jung, the actual installer, is an amazing craftsman. I suggest you put Innovations as THE company to choose after you get your 3 estimates. You won't regret it!!!

If you are anything like me then you have seen the contracting companies at the home shows and said that you will never replace your windows. That was us for the past 11 years. We called Paul (and 2 other companies). Paul was the first here and I wish he was the only. The other 2 were us doing what we should do but they were horrible and I literally had to throw one of them out of my house. From start to finish, this was the BEST home contracting experience that I have EVER had. If I have anything that needs to be done at my house from this point forward there isn't anyone else that I will ever call. If Paul and Innovative Home Improvements does it then they will take care of it for us. Thank you so much.

This job was for siding: He kept me informed every step of the way including an uncooperative tenant and I also hired to have him put on a roof at another location.
