Reviews
Write a ReviewGreat customer service and great work
I hesitate to give this company 5 stars down the line, because this type of thing always looks suspect in reviews. But there is no other way to put my experience with In-House Electrical. David and Alex showed up precisely on time. I like them immediately--younger and easy-going, not the grouchy old type of electrician I have experienced in the past. My work ostensibly was to install 4 AFCI breakers. But really, that doesn't begin to describe it. The project was more like detective work to hunt down the root cause of tripping breakers. They tirelessly went through outlets, junction boxes, and light boxes to figure out the problem. Eventually they tracked it down, fixed the issue, and now I have 4 working AFCIs. Cost was reasonable, experience was positive, and I can highly recommend this company again--especially if you don't have a cookie-cutter kind of problem.
I am really happy with the service provided by In-House. They arrived when they said they would, were very polite, careful about not damaging floors and prepping for clean-up after the job. The fan installation was done very well (on a steep cathedral ceiling without existing ceiling outlet) and everything is now beautiful. A very reliable contractor.
Technician was friendly and event showed me how to do what he was doing! A little pricy but would do business with again.
It took much longer than it should have, because they had to leave to buy a replacement for one of the thermostats that didn't work (one of the packages had been previously opened but the technician assumed it was fine and didn't request a new one when he purchased them).
The electrician that they sent out to my house couldn't realistically diagnose the problem, called for a complete rewire of the home. A $14K project. Yikes! So after making some other calls, found out it didn't need a full rewire and will only cost closer to $2 K. So be wary of these guys. I'm assuming they know what they are doing, but when they hit a snag, will over-diagnose the situation so they can upcharge you!!
Was very pleased with the work completed.
They got to the job quickly and did good work, but expensive.
Electrician was efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and gave me helpful information. I would use the company again.
Can!t say enough about this company and the two electricians that did the work. Came out when I was in dire need because of my 99-year-old father with no heat and we're here at basically the whole day put in the new electrical panel and the price I was more than reasonable. I recommend that you have them come out and give you an estimate before you hire anybody else you'll be very satisfied .
