Reviews
Write a ReviewThe sales person, Mr. Lucky is very knowledgeable of the product, he went out of his way to find what we wanted and delivered.
Thank you so much for giving Mr. Lucky a chance to shape your experience - appreciate the kind review, Luis!
The sales rep was very knowledgeable and explained the process in easy terms.
Cleaned out gutters and downspouts, then installed LeafFilter on existing gutters. No more gutter clogs, no more icicles and no more worries about ice dams causing roof leaks!! Very happy with this job.
That's what we like to hear - thank you so much for sharing, Karen!
Michele was very thorough and answered all of our questions!!! They look great!!
They arrived soon after being called, completed the work, and showed me before & after pictures. Excellent work! I would rehire and may install the leafFilter system in mid 2021.
Very professional.
He showed up right in time. Completed the job for the price quotes. Great service and price.

Living in South Florida, where it rains a lot, roof gutters are usually a must, to divert water away from the foundation of the house. I have gutters on the 3 homes we own. Because my daughter and the house of my mom has large trees around them, I would have to drag an 8 feet ladder around the house, to clean dead leaves and roof gravel out of the gutters. I would have to do this about 3-4x a year because if the gutters are clogged with debris, and we get a heavy storm, the water will shoot right over the gutter. So, a year ago, after seeing advertisements for Leaf Filter, a gutter guard, now bombarding the airways and mail with **deals**, I decided to get a quote on one of the 3 homes I own in West Palm Beach, because of the monster trees the neighbor refuses to trim. At the time, this was the only company in town that installed a gutter guard. The first thing they asked me when I called for an appointment was **will your spouse be home?** How do they know I have a spouse? Maybe I am a widow. That pissed me off and I let them know it, do they ask that question to a man? So, the salesman comes over and measures the gutter. He comes up with some random price of over $6,000. I tell him he is crazy. After renovating a few homes, I know what $6K can buy, and it is not gutter guards. After several price reductions and my refusal to accept, he asks me **what do you think is a fair price?**, I tell him and he accepts. They come out the next week for the install. Fast forward to the present. After one year, the Leaf Filter product is warping and cracking, around the screws, because of the vinyl edges, that break down and dry out from the sun. Even though they offer a warranty, I have read on complaint pages that it is near impossible to get anyone to stand by their product. The product is still keeping leaves out of the gutter, but I know in time, it will have to be replaced because it is falling apart. Tropical Storm Eta, has brought high winds and lots of storms for a good week. House #2, which is next door to house #1, has gutters, I knew were full of leaves. So, I am up on the ladder again cleaning it out. When I was on the complaint about Leaf Filter, I found a post about Gutter Glove, another company, out of California that makes a gutter guard, but made of all stainless steel. I filled out a **contact** page and within 5 minutes, received a call from Rain Filter Florida, who is the distributor in my area for Gutter Glove. Robert drove an hour and gave me a very fair price for the Gutter Glove Product. Yesterday, the Gutter Glove product was installed by Rain Filter Florida, by the owner and his partner. I am thrilled with the product and the install. Because both the house of Dana and the house of my mom are sides by side and it is easy to compare the two jobs. So, if you are thinking about putting in a gutter guard, do no use them. They seem to take advantage of people who do not know any better and will pay 6-7K for a gutter guard... mainly seniors who are retired and just cannot do the job anymore. The product is inferior and like the one installed at one of my homes, after a year, will be warped, wavy, and breaking away from the screws that hold it on. Their mailings and TV commercials, which show deep discounts, look tempting... but that is not what they bring to the high sales pitch table. Update...LeafFilter sent a rep out to look at their work and concluded the whole thing needs to be replaced. I am very reluctant to have them come back to only place the subpar material with the exact same product that will only deteriorate in a year. I may just chalk it up to a lesson learned, have their system removed and replaced with their competitor that has a better product.
We apologize for the frustrations, Linda, and appreciate you allowing our service tech to take a look at your system. We definitely want to get to the bottom of what is causing this issue. We'd be happy to discuss a solution at 800-749-4566.
