When it rains, water drains into the back room of my basement due to a blocked drain at the rear of the home. The sales representative informed me that three downspouts were connected to this drain, which can cause it to overflow and drain into the basement. Additionally, I noticed a blockage in the front drain, as water was not flowing down the downspout. The sales representative recommended capping the two drainage systems entirely and connecting a transition spout from the downspouts to divert water into the yard. For the back drain with three connected downspouts, they said they would need to separate the downspouts and attach an individual transition spout to each one to direct the water outside. However, none of these recommended fixes were actually completed. Instead, they only cleaned the gutters and installed leaf filter protection. Despite my repeated attempts to get them to return and finish the job, all my efforts have been unsuccessful. The technician claimed he was never instructed to address the downspout issues, while the sales representative insisted he had included those corrections in the assignment. The Boston office acknowledged it was their error and promised to send a technician, but over 4 days later, no one has come to complete the work. All three parties involved have failed to return my numerous calls.

LeafFilter?s filters have gotten clogged with plant matter multiple times and their lifetime warranty is extremely narrow and not a real lifetime warranty at all. They charge for service visits that are made necessary by their bad product.
