They contacted me immediately and sent a pro the next day, to inspect, measure and photograph the gutters and their problems. The gutter guards were installed within 3 days of his visit. The affable young man who installed them was careful to photograph his work and show the pictures to us. He was also careful to clean-up after himself. I was very impressed with the timely arrival of both the sales rep and the installer. Both came from over 80 miles away and arrived exactly when they said they would be here! That kind of efficiency is hard to find even within a 10 mile radius of my home, so yes, --I'm impressed!

The gutter near the kitchen has a seam that leaks. I did not know that there would be hangers screwed into the shingles; none of the illustrations showed this. As best I can tell the screws are caulked, but this presents a problem should the shingles need to be replaced. The installer came in the afternoon, worked alone and insisted on continuing to work beyond dark, so there was no visibility to achieve cleanup.

Although the long ladder is equipped with safety features, I highly recommend that a crane should be used for more safe reasons. LeafFilter should contact, negotiate with the installer, and crew to come up with a reasonable price. Then both sides will be in a win-win situation in the long run.

LeafFilter is fantastic in almost every aspect. They performed the cleaning of the gutters and installed their gutter covers. I think the one and only drawback is their pricing structure and the haggling that ensues. I felt like I was dealing with a used car salesman. We started at a ridiculously high price and worked it all the way down to what I was willing to pay and they were willing to complete the job for. I wish they had a better price structure on the actual cost per linear foot of their product and what it costs to install. I assume this practice is used in order to sucker people into paying more than they should? That's somewhat frustrating for a reputable company to perform its pricing model in that way. Outside of that, everything else was fantastic. Their first rep was professional, kind, and knowledgable and the contractor who performed the work was the same. I would definitely recommend them to others but I would do so with the caveat that their pricing structure isn't great and not to overpay for the work even if they pressure you into doing so.
