Write a ReviewI was doing a remodel of my large basement room and thought it might be wise to have my foundation inspected since I was ripping everything out and starting from scratch. I contacted JES and my sales person Dieter who came out for the appointment was a wealth of knowledge. He was able to help me identify that a large part of my floor was dipping down nearly 3 inches. Dieter helped me to determine that it was worthwhile to raise the floor up with a Poly Foam service. He was fantastic in providing me with the necessary information, never making me question whether or not I needed this, his genuine approach gave me the confidence that this was the right decision. Steve was the technician who came out to complete the job and I have never met a better, more friendly and more positive person in any customer service situation I have been in. He was absolutely great at completing the job, but also in his knowledge base as well. He helped me make sure I had the poly foam where I needed it by letting me know why I had the issue in the first place.. I would highly recommend using JES and request Dieter and Steve to work with. They are awesome!

Great sales person, friendly and easy to work with.
Scheduled service for encapsulating crawl space 1 month ago and they have yet to complete. I was given a scheduled time frame of 3 days. Left large packet of materials on lawn for > 1 week which in turn killed all the grass as well as, broke and removed porch skirting panels which remain unattached. Unacceptable, unreasonable time management, inadequate person to person communication among their crew members to accommodate my professional capacity due to their initial cancellation. As for the quality of service that is yet to be determined...

Overall, we are VERY disappointed and feel like we were ripped off for the amount of money we put into having our home repaired in a timely and professional manner. The work was scheduled to take 3-4 days. We were told by the JES salesman before we purchased any services AND by the foreman working on site that the crew would work full days until the job was complete (including Saturday if needed). The first day (Thursday) was ok. A crew of 3 workers arrived at 8:30am and worked until 4:30pm. They raised the chimney and told us that we would need to find a way to close the remaining gap (which is still significant). We were told that the chimney is now permanently stabilized, but that it's the house is not vertically straight and resulting in the remaining gap. Even though we are paying to have both the chimney and the foundation raised, they told us we will have to hire someone else to close the gap. The second day (Friday), the crew left at 3:30pm. The foreman on site told us they would return the next day (Saturday) to continue the project. We canceled plans we had made in order to be at the house to oversee the project...however, no one showed up. The crew of 3 workers returned on Monday and Tuesday and worked until 4:30 and 5pm both days. On Tuesday, we were told the project was going to take longer than expected to complete. We were told we had to call the main office to let them know we wanted the workers to continue working on our house until the project was complete (otherwise, they would have been assigned to their next foundation repair job, leaving our house incomplete). On Wednesday, the “last” and final day, additional workers came and worked alongside the original crew all day. Another crew arrived after 4pm to ensure the project was complete before dark. All of these men worked until 7:30pm that final day. They broke a vent under the house and would have left it broken if we hadn't said something before they left and had them fix it before they left. Bottom line...we paid over $22,000 for foundation and chimney repair services by JES. We are VERY disappointed with the overall service. We called and let the main office know all of these concerns, however nothing has been done to rectify the poor quality service for the amount of money we were willing to pay for timely and professional service. DO NOT USE JES unless you are willing to pay a higher cost for poor customer service and a company who does not rectify things when they go wrong. We are very disappointed with the overall service and feel like we were jipped for the amount of money we paid. We were sold professional service by the salesman, but feel like we have gotten anything but that. We would NOT recommend JES to ANY of our friends or family. We were also told we would be able to get a $50 restaurant gift card as part of a promotion they were doing, however we have yet to see that and it's been a week since the service ended.

The work did not fix the issue. Was told I would hear back from them to reschedule and go with a different procedure, but had to call them back a week after they were supposed to contact me. Got a voice mail after that telling me they wilk be back on May 10th...no other communication since then.

They did a beautiful encapsulating my crawl space which was tight in places. It made the floors warmer and the house more comfortable. It was great not having to worry about the moisture issue during hot, humid summers. No more dripping insulation or potential or mold or wood rot. Peace o mind.
