Warranty work NOT performed after 3 months of waiting. Outside waterproofing and excavation completely failed and they will not come back to fix it. They keep calling for payment for work that either hasn't been done or was done incorrectly. They did manage to put up expensive carbon fiber, which I did pay for and just have to pray was done correctly and works since I don't know very much about that. I have emailed, called and will soon make a personal appearance to try to resolve this huge problem. They promise they stand behind their customer and talk a good game, but when push comes to shove, they are silent. I know my job is small and won't net them a lot of money, but I deserve the service they promised as much as the next person. I was patient for over 2 months, but it's gotten ridiculous with excuses and not contacting me. They let a rented bobcat sit in my driveway for almost 2 weeks. As soon as I complained the excavation needed fixed, they came and got it the same day. If they can waste that kind of rental money, they can write off the rest of my balance! I've paid over $11,500 for a job that is less that sub par. If I could give them a lower rater than what's listed above I would. Save yourself time, money, frustration and your house/yard in a constant state of disrepair and find another company!!!!!! I am gladly sharing my phone number below. MAYBE they will actually call me......update:..After a rough start, the work quality has improved. Dimitrius did a great job correcting a problem caused by a previous employee. Joe Campbell has stuck with me through thick and thin. Today, he and Jeff came to complete the warranty work. I’m very hopeful the next year passes with no problems so I can refinish my basement.

Did a great job the first time!

This was a fairly major job to support the foundation. I had noticed a number of vertical cracks in two foundation walls in the “crawl space” - the space is nearly six feet high at its tallest. The house was built in Hanover county in 1992. I contacted JES and the appointment was made promptly, conveniently, and the technician was on time and highly professional. He did an extensive analysis inside and out and found that the foundation was settling down almost 2 inches toward the back left of the house. He discussed all of the options to fix the problem, and we settled on the push piers since the are permanent and reliable. Not the cheapest solution, but the best. This is serious business not to be trifled with. The work was done on schedule and also very professionally. There was little if any disruption to our daily routine. Five piers were placed around the lower left corner, and appropriate building inspector certification by the county was done. All work was done outside, none in the crawl space. When finished there was almost no sign that they had been there- except that the foundation was secured. They even replanted a large 20 year old rhododendron that had to be moved to do the work, and it is still alive in the middle of summer 5 months later. I fully endorse this company, and please don’t believe any negative reviews you might read. JES is the best. I am having trouble entering the cost - it was around $11,000.00 - money well spent.

I was told they would be digging by hand, they said I should not have been told that, they took my fence down, and I lost 2 plants.

I met with Christian Distler-Caravetta and he is simply the best. He provided us sound recommendations on what we needed done and supported us throughout the project. I had gotten 3 quotes for the job of raising our old house and the other 2 guys didn't even go under the house to do measurements. The prices were extreme to say the least. But, JES was the better choice and mostly because of Christian. Once the work crew showed up I saw a very professional team that worked confidently together. We were very impressed and we will use JES again.

They were very friendly and the customer service has been great. They initially quoted higher than another company but were willing to match prices. I chose them because they came with better recommendations from friends and seemed to have better customer service. The work is great. They come back periodically to apply additional lift to the house.
