"Reliable.." wouldn't give a ballpark price but pushed their $89 service fee which gets applied to the service. once they arrived, they gave me an exorbitant price, knowing I was pressed for time. They wanted over $925 for a $600 job. They wouldn't budge on the price and I felt they were taking advantage and so they left without doing the job. (At that price they were even cutting corners by sharing one circuitbreaker for two outlets that are supposed to be isolated). The next company I called was able to come the next morning and do a proper job with two separate ciruitbreakers and charged about $600. "Reliable.." should have been embarrassed to squeeze me for that, but instead they immediately sent me bills for the $89, which I am paying - and good riddance.. Beware of companies such as this that take advantage of people.

Yes, it's true, we do not want our office staff here who answer the phones and book calls doing any guess work with pricing as they are not electricians, so our model is to have our actual electricians (our own staff- we never outsource our work) do the proper diligence while they are out at the home and give you the real price, one that we will always stand behind (we never go back to our customers on our price). Moreover, we always provide our customers with multiple options wherever possible, as we did for you, so they can choose what works best for them and their budget. All of our work will always be done up to code and up to the highest standards of safety and quality- we never cut corners. I listened to the recording to ensure that your call was properly handled- and I heard that you did agree in advance to the $89 fee for our electrician to come out, to do the diligence and provide you with those options. I see here that our electrician did leave you some options within the budget that you requested. We have been in business for over 14 years, won multiple awards for great service, and we got here by truly caring for each and every customer as if they were our own family member. I am not sure how we could have done better for you, but we are of course open to hearing from you. You may call me at 561-362-4484 if you wish to discuss further. The technician installed switches and fixed 4 outlets. He was knowledgeable, professional and polite. The dispatcher was also very professional and kind. I received same day service and am very pleased with this company.

From day one Robert (the owner), came to my house and gave a very professional presentation... I had 3 quotations, but he gave me an honest assessment of the equipment, I required, while the other 2 tried to "over sell" me.. Robert also gave me a time line, including how long it would take to get a Boca permit... The entire job went flawlessly and according to the promised timeline.. The installers were friendly and extremely conscientious... They went well above my expectations... The customer service department were extremely courteous and professional... The lead manager, Glenn, was great and figured out a great solution, to hide the piping properly, and make it look perfect... The price was extremely competitive... These guys did such a great job, I have since used them to do interior work in my home, as well as electrical on my dock.. They are the best!!!

It started out with the president of the company, Rob Biscardi,  coming out on July 27, 2015 to give me quote. He was very informative and presented himself very professionally. He had top notch marketing material. I was so impressed I wrote him a $3,000 deposit check on the spot. That was the last time I would be able to meet or speak with Mr Biscardi. He was always not in the office or in a meeting. Someone else would get back to me but the job was not going to my satisfaction and I wanted to speak to the man who in charge. He told me in my intiital meeting it would take approximately 2 months to it would be completed due to the permitting process. Completion should be around October 1st. Everytime I called I was told they were waiting for the permit to be approved. Finally I called Martin County Permit Office and was informed that the paperwork was filled out by Reliable and therefore it was rejected. We lost over a month because none at Reliable never followed up! I informed the foreman Glenn to give me as much notice as possible when they would be working on the property. Many times that never happened or they wouldn't show up when they said they would. That caused alot of problems for everyone because my property you can't have direct access. Parking is very difficult and I had other contracors performing various work and coordinating was essential. The work would begin and stop for long periods of time and the whole process became drawed out. They left the place a mess evertime they left. Pipes and conduit pieces everywhere not to mention the garbage. They also destroyed my irrigation system and didn't tell us when they had broken pipes. The job just got completed on January 18, 2016. this is 3.5 months later than promised. It also caused my other subs and the timeline of the remolding project many difficulties. As we came to one week to the final start up of the generator they wanted their 60% draw. I told them because of all delays I would pay the entire bill the following week at start up. They threatened to put a lien on my property and had no remorse.

From start to finish, the project was exceptional. The company's customer service on the phone is phenomenal with knowledgeable service reps and helpful attitudes. And what's even more impressive is the follow-through: everything that a Reliable Power rep said would had happen actually did! Someone called me prior to the tech's arrival. The tech arrived right on time. And the tech provided advice and counsel from an objective, non-salesy perspective. I was impressed before we even began the actual job. The installation tech Donnie was fantastic, and I'd request him on every job. He explained the procedure, how long it would take, and the costs. He also has to be the cleanest service provider we've ever had in our home. And considering this job was for my son's playroom, I'm even more picky on cleanliness. The end result is beautiful. The playroom has a brilliant white light yet not overpowering. And now his room makes the rest of our house looks like a dungeon. I want to redo all of our lighting!
