I took a chance for inexpensive windows, and I am paying for it! Install day was in August and was horrible - they sent a three man crew for 33 windows, no crew manager on-site. We encountered damage to my floors, window trim, recently installed hardy plank, gaps in caulking, four windows with the incorrect glass patterns, broken glass in freshly laid rocks around the home without clean up, and the job ended up taking two entire days, leaving my family of six paying for a hotel to avoid the dust and noise. (An extra +$150 out of our pockets.) After install and inspection, I pointed out the issues and was told to contact the Install Manager by phone who came out took photos and said everything would be resolved. He schedule a repairman to fix the trim, siding, clean up the glass, and that they would get someone out to repair the floors, and a replacement order was placed for the windows. Repair guy came out he fixed most of the issues, but still no resolution to the floors and a ton of glass in our landscape rock. 1st replacement order came in, the missing a window and a screen and the other windows were damaged! 2nd Replacement order was placed - replacements came in - wrong pattern AGAIN! We are now on the 6TH Replacement order, we ordered the windows almost 1 year ago,m the install began in early August!!! This is ridiculous, and now we are again left waiting, needing to take time out of our work schedules, and despite repeat contacts to the Install Manager, to the local office, and to a corporate escalation team we've not had anyone come out and repair our floors and there is still almost an entire window of glass in my rock landscape on the side of my house! Don't be drawn in by the price, the install and customer service is not worth the money you save!!!

Not well. The crew was disrespectful. They climbed on our new granite counter top to install one of the windows. They refused my wife's request to get down. I had to call there supervisor to get them to get off. They failed the windstorm inspection and when they came to add additional screws the told my wife that they didn't bring any covers for the extra holes the are drilling in the new windows. Two of the windows leak.

As follow up to my earlier rating on 21 March, a warning, do not pay the balance due unless the work is completed to your full satisfaction, no matter how small the issue. Additionally, based on the unacceptable delays and misinformation I have received with respect to their completing their installation, do not place a high value on their warranty. My windows were installed on Monday 20 March. On Tuesday 21 March I sent an e-mail to our salesman, Julio O’Ryan and wrote: "In case the installers have not been timely in advising the appropriate individuals, in their somewhat rushed installation, they cracked one of the windows. They informed us a replacement would be forthcoming in 7 to 10 days. My purpose in this e-mail is to make sure they have followed up on requesting the replacement. When I had not received a response by 30 March, I sent another e-mail to Julio, writing: "I must state I am surprised you did not respond to my message below. It has been ten (10) days since the windows were installed. I have not received the window, obviously, or I would not be sending another message." On 31 March I received the response below from Julio: "Per installation manager”R/O was placed on date of install and 7-10 was being very optimistic. Usually 2-3 weeks on sashes.” So installer did not set proper expectations. So it should take another week or 2." I responded on 31 March: "Thank you for your response. Had you responded to my initial e-mail in a timely basis, it would have made your explanation appear logical and the more skeptical side of my nature less prone to assume the explanation is more on the “spin” side than explanatory. Monday 2 April will be two weeks since the windows were installed. Monday 9 April will be three weeks. Am I correct to assume that by Monday 9 April someone will be coming to the house to replace the cracked window?" On 2 April Julio responded: "I'm just relayed the information given to me by the operation manager. Unfortunately I do not have any part in that process. I was just trying to get you an answer. You can call (713) 264-0074 and put a claim in regarding the installation as well if you like." I phoned the number Julio gave me on 2 April, spoke to Christie and she said she would have someone phone me. My wife’s phone number was on the order, I assume this is why my wife was called by Bryan and why I was not called. Bryan told my wife that my window would be on a delivery to be received by the local Window World facility on Friday the 13th and my window would be replaced some time the week ended 19 April. On 19 April I sent an e-mail to Julio stating: "This is a classic example of how to turn a satisfied customer who would have and did write a reasonably good review on Angie’s List into a frustrated and dissatisfied customer. I phoned the operations number you gave me below on I believe Monday the 9th last week. My wife got a call from a pleasant man the next day saying a delivery would be coming Friday the 13th and we would have a replacement window by today at the latest. No follow-up. This afternoon I am challenging the credit card charge until I receive the window. I will be writing to whomever I can find on your website and revising my review on Angie’s list to state the facts. It is a shame!" On 19 April, Bryan phoned my wife and told her the earliest date they have to replace the window is 1 May. Because the window is a “snap in and out” window, my said to him this is a five minute job, why will it take another 10 days. His response was we have a number of large jobs and this is the earliest we can get there. I have disputed the charge. I tried to do it online, however, the credit card company website cut me off half way in three times. I then phoned the credit card company and it will take 7 to 10 days for me to receive the paperwork and then I will have to complete the forms. My advice, if you do pay on completion of the work and are not satisfied or do not receive a timely and satisfactory response, dispute the payment immediately.

Response from Company:

Thank you for taking the time to follow up with us, and while we regret to hear you are no longer satisfied with your experience, we appreciate the honest feedback. From there, we will discuss the resolution and address any remaining concerns that you have. Again, we thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we look forward to the completion of your installation.

Overall was really good. Price was the main driver in choosing Window World. The salesman was good, not pushy or over bearing. Their product was similar to other vendors. The crew that installed was decent. They worked quickly but did leave a bit of a mess and didn't clean the glue off the windows after installation that left marks on the windows. That was an easy clean up. Overall very satisfied for the work and project.

Response from Company:

We appreciate the kind words. We do apologize for any mess that went unattended to, but we're very happy to know you're satisfied with your new windows! Thanks again for choosing Window World!

The price was REALLY good and the salesman was top notch. We had 15 windows done at once. They came and installed all windows and did a top notch cleanup in about 3 hours time. So, we will be using them shortly for the last 15 windows.

Response from Company:

We're so happy to hear you say that! Thank you so much for choosing Window World of Houston, and enjoy all 15 of those new windows!!

Perfect! I was SO impressed as to the smooth process of removing the existing windows, containing/removing the debris from my 2nd floor condo, leaving the interior & exterior in immaculate condition, and a clean caulked final installation. And upon completion, I was shown the various features/functions of the new windows.

Response from Company:

Thank you very much for I the review! Were so glad to hear you were satisfied with our products and services, and please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.
