UTTER INCOMPETENCE!!!!!!!!!! 11/25/2025 - UPDATE: THE INCOMPETENCE CONTINUES. A MONTH LATER OF PROMISES - which basically is just Window World Houston speak for LIES! - The shoddy work has still not been fixed. The lies continue. After a month of promises, the door should have been installed today, and YET AGAIN, another lie, they suddenly are not able to do it today. Considering I bought and paid for this door 6 months ago, and they couldn't write down on the order what I asked for, they tried to tell me they can paint the CUSTOM DOOR, because who wants what they ordered, right? Now, they have been telling me the door would be installed on November 2nd, yet it is NOVEMBER 25th, and I am no closer to getting my door. STAY AWAY FROM THESE INCOMPETENT IDIOTS!!!!!!!!!!! Literally go ANYWHERE but to them. Funny how they have a 1.3-star rating on YELP and other review sites, yet a 4.7-star rating on Google. PLEASE LOOK AT THE OTHER REVIEWS - save yourself from dealing with them. Curren

Dan Trader was excellent. Went over all the options with me and laid out a plan that met our exact specifications. Communications were exceptional. Windows arrived on time and the install was great. The team was professional and respectful of my property. They addressed the few concerns that I had right away. A supervisor came by and checked on the job. Clean up was good. The price was 1/7 of Renual by Anderson and 1/2 the bid from Lowe’s. I couldn’t be more pleased.

The WORST… I started this process over a year ago when I had a leaking window. It took several weeks to get the sales person out to measure (his name was Johnny). When he showed up he was intoxicated, but he gave me some excuse about a mental disorder (which I believed). He had mentioned that he had had lots of complaints before about him being drunk. He then placed the order, and I had to wait 8 weeks for the windows to arrive before installing. When they arrived it was the wrong size, so now I know longer believe his story about a mental disorder. He was definitely intoxicated. He had measured wrong, and now my tenant had to wait another 8 weeks for the new order to arrive. The windows arrived and they were installed (4 months later), so I thought we were finally done. Nope, months later I received a message from my HOA that they were going to fine me, because the insulation foam was visible, and it clearly was. I reached out to Window World to correct the problem, and I was told that a manager would call me back. That call back never happened. I called back again later and I was told the same thing again, but now I actually needed a new window as well, because my HOA demands that the two windows to that unit match. Now that I need a new order, I finally did get a call from the “manager” Jake Rodger, and I explain the situation and how this has been going on for over a year at this point, and how I needed a new window, but if I were to use them again I would need some sort of financial remedy in the form of credit. He assured me that he would take care of the foam as well as see what he could do about the credit. I explained, that after all this I would never use Window World again, but they were lucky that my HOA needs my windows to match and that I would give them the opportunity to make it right so that hopefully I could use them for my other rental units. I had to follow up with him several times via phone and text messages. I later discovered that the manager was a “field supervisor” not a manager. He did schedule with me to go remove the foam, but of course it was cancelled and he had to reschedule. I have continued to follow up on the credits with no response. He did finally get out there and remove the foam. However, I waited weeks again to get a call back from Johnny (sales person) about scheduling the measurements, and when he finally did set a day he didn’t show up. I followed up and received no response. Days later I discovered a quote/estimate requesting my signature in my inbox. So he decided to go without rescheduling without notification to advise the tenant. Finally after getting nowhere with the credit I decided to bite the bullet and just get it done. I very reluctantly signed the estimate to get the window on order. I thought finally I am done, and in another 8 weeks I will have this new window and be done with this mess. Nope, Johnny texted me that he had made a typo on the quote and that he had sent the revised at a cost of $365 more. Absolutely not. If you’re considering Window World especially in the Houston area I would highly suggest a different option. I would definitely pay significantly more to never use them again.

From start to finish, Window World did a great job. We only needed one window, so I was hesitant to even call, but they more than willing to do the small jobs. Mr. Gordon came out and was so helpful and nice. Didn't try to oversell me, but just told me the truth. Installers were quick and clean. Highly recommend.

Window World rep called me 3 days before installation date, following by few e-mails reminder on what to expect & perform prior to installation. Crew chief called 30 mins before arriving. Upon arrival, crew placed mats near windows & few protective covers over beddings. Tearing down the existing old windows was the largest part of the construction project. Afterwards, installation begun & completed well. The crew of 5 were skilled & careful of their own responsibilities. Once completed (under 4 hours), crew chief & I walked & tested each & every double-hung windows. He showed me how to remove for cleaning & explained the unique no. for warranty purposes if needed. Remaining crew performed clean up inside & outside the house. Thank you for a job well done! Note: Sale Rep Dan Trader was very knowledgeable and professional during first initial house visit. On second visit, he carefully measured all existing old windows and frames. He explained well the process and lead time.
