Recipe for incompetence. Award job to low bidder (salesman Travis) in January. Wait three months for windows. Schedule day home from work, Earnest's crew arrives without wood trim. Assume this was just a miscommunication, reschedule work for following week. Take another day off from work, but crew never arrives. Forced to leave for an obligation with my Cambodian born wife left home alone. The crew arrives (after 5 PM, and several hours late without a call) without the wood trim. My wife doesn't know to send them away. I call the new crew lead (Andrew Berger) three times, and call the number in his voice mail. That number goes to another voice mail at Window World stating their office is closed. Finally Andrew calls back, and I tell him to have his crew leave. He refuses, and says the job is already started and they can't leave. He tells me I am wrong, that I didn't order wood trim. I then find out that he didn't even know that the job was rescheduled, nor did he bother to speak with the salesman before he told me I was wrong. Salesman confirmed that yes, we did request wood trim and that a quote was provided. Travis promised to "make it right". Crew members worked without safety glasses on, and managed to get caulk/glue in one of their eyes while on my property. Crew left after 8 PM without finishing the work, as they said they would have to return with the wood trim. I will not permit their unsafe workers back on my property, even if the cheap looking windows failed tomorrow. I contacted the high bidder, who will return next week to finish Window World installation that was left shoddy and incomplete. I will award the other 17 windows to the high bidder. Lesson learned, cheapest price isn't always the best way to go, there is value in hiring service providers that care.
Everything went well with the installation, the windows are all working great. My only issue was the very, very long wait time. I understand covid might have played a part in the delivery time but that long wait really was a inconvenience

Dan Trader came out to quote the window. We were replacing slider for picture window in master bath Delivery was as promised but late due to the massive snow storm. Installation was scheduled with in a few days if delivery

Excellent from estimate to install. The Install crew was awesome!! Very professional, courteous, knowledgable, clean and careful. I highly recommend Window world!! The only negative thing I can say is because of Covid & the hurricanes from last year, it took over 2 months to get our windows manufactured and shipped to Houston for installation.

UPDATE 12/21/2020: as of my last update this company “tried” to make things better. They ordered me a new window to *finally* match the original one. Their second attempt at installing a window to match the original was comically worse that the 1st attempt. I’m sitting here in tears because it’s not that hard to measure! It’s a completely off measurement. I’ve wasted numerous days off of work for these people to keep messing up. Update 10/2/2020: customer service did reach out to me to remedy my situation. They sent someone out to repair my drywall and they took measurements to replace the window. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. Save your money and have someone else work for you. I had this company swap out one window for me. It took an entire month for the window to arrive. On the day of installation the contractors were two hours late. In the process of installing the window, they left a greasy handprint on my wall, a bloody thumbprint on the frame, and gouged the drywall next to the window. Also the window is completely mismatched from all my others even though I was promised it would look the same. I tried calling the field supervisor several times but my calls were always skirted and never returned. PICK A DIFFERENT COMPANY.

Ordered 15 weeks ago. Increased price $1200 a week later b/c salesman made a mistake. The company rescheduled the install 3 times and the windows are still not here 15 weeks later. They did show up yesterday with 1 window of the order, asked for remaining balance (paid 50% up front) and said they need to smash out the old window that will fall to neighbors yard on the first floor. I have been given the runaround on the phone for 2 days, repeatedly refused a refund, and manager Jason Gannon called me unprofessional for asking for a refund. He also refused to give me his direct line if problems arise on the next reschedule date, and refused to put any summary of his assurance in an email.

Randy Els was our sales rep and he did a wonderful job of explaining everything to us in a professional, caring way. It did take a little while for our windows to be built, which Randy had explained in advance with Covid precautions and all the hurricanes we’ve had in the surrounding areas. The installation team also did a wonderful job. The windows look wonderful and they made sure they removed all the old windows, screens and debris. We will definitely recommend them.
