Window World of Houston

After receiving quotes from 4 companies, we selected WIndow World of Houston to replace 10 old single-pane aluminum frame windows in a 1960's-era brick house. They not only provided the lowest quote (one vendor quoted almost twice the price for similar quality windows), they seemed to us to have the most professional operation and customer-friendly attitude. This company excels at customer communications. They always arrived when promised, sent frequent emails to notify of progress, and completed the job ahead of the promised schedule. They patiently and thoroughly explained their various configuration options and the installation process. The windows are of good quality (as expected at this price point, they are not top-shelf products but are superior to low-end windows sold at some big box stores), they look good in the wall, and they operate simply and easily. I recommend this vendor and would use them again in the future.

The rep was on time and was nice.  That is about all of the positive things that I can say.  The whole time, I felt that it was a scripted corporate sales call.  I was not impressed with the quality of the windows, and there were a lot of reasons (excuses)  that they do things their way.  Unless you want the basic window "their way" they are not really any cheaper than the other guys that came out to quote us, and they were by far the worst quality of window.  The $200 window does not exist in Texas.  They tried to upsell us on a package that was 70-80 additional dollars PER WINDOW, and then nickle and dime you to death to "cover costs"  No one else charged extra for windstorm inspection or removal of old windows.  I assume that when you pay for installation of replacement windows, that those things are included in the price! Bottom line - look elsewhere for windows in the Houston Area!

The Window World crew arrived on time, they removed all the old windows put in the new windows and corked them. They clean up all debris and removed it. The only problem was one window was broken and one window was built wrong from the factory. They had to reorder the two windows. They have been a little slow following up with replacement of the two windows.

They are pretty well known here in Houston.  The product is very good and of good quality.  The people who came were polite and professional.  They cleaned up after themselves.  There are no dislikes at this point and I will have them come again.

The installers called ahead of time. They were very prompt. They neatly took out the old windows. They took the time to carefully put in the new windows. They showed us how to work all the features of the windows. The whole process, from talking to the salesman (John), to ordering, to setting up the installation, to the actual installation was very positive. I recommend them highly.

Joel Ludwig was great, he answered all my questions. He came out and showed me samples of what I was buying. He took the time to explain everything. He had the financing I was looking for i.e. ( 12 months no interest). The installation guys were fast and they cleaned up their mess. They showed up on time and nothing was out of place. Fantastic job.   I have given Joel's number to several of my friends. My power bill reflects the installation of the new windows already. if I have to buy new windows again I'll call Window World !!!!! Thanks guys for an excellent JOB. Vanessa Maraman West Houston

The advertised $189.00 per installed window is not true. They give you the in Texas you are required to have this specific window speech and the windows actually cost a lot more. So far the windows have been great as far as quality. They showed up on time and the installation took about 3 hours. I was surprised that the salesmen came by after they were finished to check on the installation. Overall a good experience. 

Great. Talked to salesman and they beat the other prices I was getting. Salesman took measurements. After a few weeks, windows were installed in a 1/2 day and mess cleaned up.   

Window World of Houston was very responsive, answered all questions, returned phone calls promptly, called to set appointments, arrived punctually.  Installers were professional, very competent, polite, and very pleasant to deal with.  Installation and clean-up were superb. My only negative comment is that Window World of Houston did not inform me about the interest free installment plan offered until I asked about payment options.

The whole experience was AWESOME!!!!
