I had a great experience from the beginning my salesman (Nick Johanboeke) came on time to give me options for my tub to shower request. There was no pressure to buy and the price was great because you have so many options to choose from. My installers arrived with the roads after several snow and sleet events on time from Lexington to Louisville. Connor and Matt were great strong workers. They completed it sooner than I thought possible. They were very professional and knew what they were doing! When I saw the bathroom after they finished and cleaned up I almost cried. It was so beautiful!!!!!

Kyle K and Josh A are the best. Worked all day and got it done. Clean up was great. Recommend them highly. Going to love using my new shower tomorrow night. Thank God for this blessing and the men for their hard work.

this is the 5th project we have entrusted to westshore homes. front doors, rear doors, basement windows vinyl siding and now a bathroom remodel. All professional salespeople and installers. Theres not much left to do in our house but you can bet if there is another project I will call them 1st. BTW CJ was an exceptional installer for our bathroom!

Awesome Job!!! Thanks to West Shore Home for the outstanding service we received for our new shower install. I can't thank Phernell & Ben enough for the hard work they have completed in my bathroom. They were on time, dependable, knowledgeable, and personable. Definitely would recommend as well as would hire this company again. Best part is one day!!!! Can't forget Mr. Ramos, great communication and attention for this project!!!

Very friendly - both the salesman and the installation team. Awesome transformation from my 1950s green tub to a floor to ceiling shower. Even came on an icy/icky day.

We're committed to maintaining a network of trusted home service businesses, and those who don't meet our criteria will be rejected or promptly removed from our network.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
