I have had breakers tripping from the day I bought my older condo and had an idea of what I was going to have to have done. I knew I was probably going to have a hard time getting someone in right away, but I went on Home Advisor and literally as soon as I hit the send button, my phone rang and it was Green Solar Electric Solutions. The gentleman said he could have someone over for a free estimate in about an hour. I got a call from the electrician/owner, Rene, at around the time he was to arrive letting me know that he had an emergency call and would be late, which was no problem, as I was home all day anyways. He arrived at the time he said he would, maybe a little earlier even, and diagnosed my issue and went over a couple of different ways to fix the issue. When I asked when they would be available to do this work, he said he could do it now. I was shocked. I took his advise, and replaced the entire panel, install the proper outlet for the wall a/c unit, install 3 new gfi outlets in the kitchen, and put the microwave on it's own circuit, which we ran through the attic to save from cutting more into walls. He was pretty fast. I would say he got the entire job done in about 3.5 hours or so. I didn't price compare so I have no idea if I paid a fair price, but I paid $2450.00 for all of this work, which seems ok to me I guess. I'm afraid to look now, I'm just glad it's fixed. My concerns were/are that he had no reliable drywall person to come in afterwards to repair the wall around the new panel, so I am going to have to pay someone separate to fix that. With regard to the outlet he installed for the microwave, he did not do a clean cut in the wall to place the gfi box, so outside of the plate that covers the outlet is a slice out of the wall, but it is inside of an upper kitchen cabinet, so I really didn't mind so much because of that. I did mention asking him if I could use saying to any potential new owner that I had the new electrical panel installed and if not pulling permits from the city would be an issue and he said we don't need to get the city involved, which tells me I probably should have but I kind of knew this going in and I didn't want the city involved either let alone my condo association. Red tape and hands out for more of my money. I felt confident enough that he knew what he was talking about and I did check his licensing out on line and he had all the proper licensing, bonding and work comp insurance in tact. So had there been someone available to properly fix the drywall, the rateo n the work quality would have gotten five stars, because I doubt I will ever take care of this until I am ready to repaint, even though the panel is on a wall in the master bedroom. He did offer to use my vacuum to clean up but I declined and said I would take care of it. Nice man, very knowledgeable, I did have him give me a quote for buidling 3 ceiling fan boxes and installing a light over the shower and installing a Panasonic exh
