Get an estimate in writing BEFORE you start anything !! He charged me $600 to change an outdoor outlet to a covered outlet and replaced a motion lightâ ¦parts total should have been under $100 and he was here for 1.5 hours. When I asked to have it broken down his answer was not clear it basically was his â MAX QUOTEâ and very subjective! He did a good clean job but was way to expensive!

The work was fine but the price charged for the service was obscene. Actual price paid was $280 per hour for a total 2 1/2 hours = $700 total paid for basic electrical work. This was more than twice the amount quoted by other companies. Considering the cost of the work it was hard to believe the electrician was not professional enough to shut off the power supply for safety purposes which caused a â shocking situationâ . Unfortunately my naïve and trusting husband made the arrangements for the work without discussing the price with me first. I will never use your services again after this experience. .

In so many ways they were unprofessional from billing, to respecting my time by showing up when they said they would, to trying to charge me $1,000 to remove an old phone wire. I do not recommend them at all.
