We are very happy with the results of our foundation repair. The original tech, Chris, was very knowledgeable and patient to explain everything in a way my wife and I could understand. We went with G.L. Hunt because this was the company that said that while the repair would need to be done sometime, our timing was very early and we did not really need the repair at this time, Chris told us that we are addressing this problem very early and suggested that we change our watering habits and drainage from the downspouts of the gutters, which we are doing as well. The overall rating was 4.5 for only a small reason that can be remedied quickly when the workers replaced the only bush they had to remove for the repair from our landscaping, they just replanted it without paying attention to the spacing between the bushes. Had I gone out and paid attention to the small details, I would have had them move it at that time. I will be able to move it quickly, so it is not something that would change my recommendation of the company or the work they did. We are extremely happy with this company and the work they did, we will recommend them to do the work for you expertly, quickly and on time.

Despite apprehension and the amount of time it took, 7 days, I feel they did a great job. I initially dealt with Dustin and Taylor, Dustin for inspections and Taylor provided customer support answering every question I had and also alleviating any concerns throughout the entire process. This made a great foundation for trust, excuse the pun. Johnny was the site lead and communicated continually and was always available for any of my questions, consummate pro. Now work was completed 13 January and we noticed right away where we had issues that they'd been rectified by the leveling. I'll continue to engage with them to make sure I do my part to ensure all their hard work is taken care of. The process is not perfect, weather delays and such are to be expected, lots of dust in the house if they do internal piers, expect it, you're gonna have to do a lot of dusting and cleaning post work. I expected this because Johnny and I talked about it, great communication form everyone, thank you for outstanding work and attitude. Afterwards--Post plumbing test failed on sewer, they had company come out and we got that set up and completed. Expect plumbing work if you have a major shift, factor that into everything before having your foundation done, saves a lot of frustration after the fact. But again was info I got from plumber fiends and GL Hunt mentioned so feel like everything was kind of covered.

We had had a piers put under a portion of our foundation about 8 years ago. That contractor is no longer in business. We hired Hunt to add additional piers and adjust existing piers. There was significant tunneling involved. The crew worked diligently for 4 days and got the job done.
