Bryan was easy to work with, professional and very knowledgeable. The foundation repair team was excellent, did an amazing job! Left the area clean and unnoticed. I had a few questions after the work was done, the office and Bryan were very responsive. Their follow up and great customer service goes unmatched! We had 4 estimates from different companies, and by far GL Hunt beat all others in price!

This work was done for my sister who is 70yrs old and disabledAda . They took 2 days to do the work they didn't even give the cement time to cure. They tore the Hardy Plank siding out all the way around, then told her if she didn't hire someone to put up metal flashing it would void her warranty. Me being a 57 yr old woman I did it for her. I crawl under the house every 3 months to take pictures to show how bad it is. I finally got them to send one of their guts out to see what they had done to my sisters house as he crawled under the house he kept saying this is not acceptable. He told us they would be back to fix it ASAP well next week will be 1 year. We call pretending to be someone else and ask questions such as even though it's been raining can you still do the work they say "of course" then we ask why they haven't they hang up on us.We hired an inspector $1200. to look at it he refused to go under the house sighting it looked too dangerous. Meanwhile my sisters house is now falling apart. I had to go under it to reattach the tub drain because it had shifted so bad. It moved one night so abruptly that a crack opened up in the kitchen wall it shot 1/2 the switch plate off into my arm and a window shattered. I truly believe they saw my sister as being physically impossible to look under the house to see what they had done. Basically G.L. Hunt charged my sister $15,000. to destroy her home.
Response from Company:
I would love to discuss these issues with you further. All calls incoming and outgoing are not only recorded they are entered into the customers profile automatically. We only show two calls from you addressing a water issue back in August of 2018. We installed sonotubes on your sisters home, and our work was not only overseen by the city, but by the structural engineer as well. Sonotubes are poured and then a week later after they cure we come back and pull the papers and do final cleanup. Once our work was completed your sister filled out a report stating the work completed was excellent, the engineer signed off on the work completed, and the city agreed with the work completed and closed the permit. If you called under a fake person asking if we do work during the rain the answer would be yes. We typically attempt to work in the rain as long as it's light rain. However, if we arrive at the home and the soil is saturated or there is water standing we will not be able to work. So every house is on a case by case basis. I have never met an inspector that would charge $1200 for a house of your sisters size, but if he was unable to do an inspection I would hope you would get your money back. I find it hard to believe it was too dangerous as the city inspector and the structural engineer had no problem. Based on your file I do not see where a service order was ever called in since August of 2018. Since your sisters home is still under warranty I will be happy to have our staff call and schedule a service order with her. This is the first steps to resolving any issues. In the future if you are unhappy please call us. In addition your sister was provided a structural engineer that would have been happy to come out and evaluate the home again and suggest any adjustments needed. G.L. Hunt is a great company that is backed by our reputation in the business for over 30 years. We do not take advantage of people and our goal is to always help in any way we can. The first step, however, is contacting us legitimately and requesting a service order. I will start this process for your sister.

This company was very dishonest. we signed a contract to do foundation repair, but today they were supposed to start they emailed me about an hour before they are supposed to arrive to tell me they were not going to do it. they had quoted me about $4000 for the job, but then came back with another quote of $56,000! Moreover, I spent $1000s preparing for them to do the work by moving my father to a hotel and by asking my wife to come from abroad to stay with them. Needless to say, I believe this company is very dishonest and should be investigated for the exploitation of senior citizens.
Response from Company:
I am so sorry you feel the way you do. This is a very different situation for us as I do not understand this review at all. We went to your home over a month ago not yesterday. When we originally visited the home we were unable to offer a bid or do an inspection because there was no crawl space access. A week later you contacted us and wanted a bid to replace the perimeter beam and to add piers to one side. We explained that we can offer an open bid for it, but we were unable to know if we would be able to perform the work until we created an access point. In addition, there would be no reason to move anyone into a hotel as we were not working inside the home. We were very upfront about the project, because you can not give a concrete bid on something you cannot see. We arrived at the home a month ago, not yesterday, where on the way there you called and threatened us that you were calling the police on us if we were late. So we made sure to get there quickly. Upon arrival, we created an access point to discover the home was sitting on the ground. So there would be no way for us to perform the work without excavation. We then gave you a more accurate bid based on what we were able to see now. Up to this point we have not charged you anything. I would love to talk with you more about this, but I do not understand the dishonesty put in here.
