G.L. Hunt Foundation Repair

Daniel arrived on time and was very professional during his visit.  We had already had one company come out so G.L. Hunt was a second opinion.  Daniel did a more complete job of measuring our foundation inside our home and even went outside to look at the exterior of our home (which the other company did not!).  We were lucky that both companies said our foundation was solid and we were not charged a cent for the visit.  When I asked Daniel about fixing the crack on my wall and ceiling, he suggested I wait 6 months to see if the crack grew and give him a call at that time and he'd be happy to come back out to re-measure my foundation, again at no charge.  He also gave me suggestions about my flower bed guards keeping water too close to our foundation and suggested gutter extensions.  What a great employee!  We will use this company again in the future and recommend them to all our friends.

I was unsatisfied with their work and I was not happy with it.  They did not do a good job and it makes me angry to even talk about it.  The whole thing is just awful.  The exact done itself to address the problem was not done properly.  It made me very upset.

  The initial consultation they came out and viewed what needed to be done and gave me a price. The team that came out was very hard working. They were here almost all day. I saw a lot of laughter and joy, which lets me know they were well taken care of and their work ethics were very good!  When they were finished they picked up the debris very well I didn’t have to go behind them, I was very impressed and that said a lot to me. i have already reccomemnded them to my mneighnor anfd they hae already used them , and i will continure to reccomend them. I have already recommended them to my neighbor and they have already used them , and I will continue to recommend them.

It was accomplished in a timely and professional manner.

Mr. Coy Smithhart (very professional), called to confirm our meeting time and was able to come by our home before our appointment  time (flexible), which was great for us. Once Mr. Smithhart arrived he immediately identified an area outside of the foundation issue that we could improve upon to protect our home. He assessed the cracks in our walls and stated that he didn't believe that we had a foundation problem (he could have tried to sell us on repairing something that's not broke, but he didn't), but a cosmetic issue that a different company should be able to fix at a cost that would be very reasonable. Additionally, he made several suggestions to prevent foundation problems in the future. We were impressed!

They came and did a great job. They did a quick assessment and they were on time. I really appreciated that. They were very knowledgeable and they gave me some really good information. I enjoyed the experience. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

We had noticed that bricks on the exterior of the house were cracking, and several doors were not closing properly.  Based on an Angie's List, we called GL Hunt and asked for an estimate.  The representative that came out, Coy, was great.  He explained the entire processed, answered all of my questions and assured me of the service and what would occur.  We agreed to use the company and paid the downpayment.  The next day a representative called to schedule the service.  The day we scheduled, the team showed up promptly and introduced themselves.  They were incredibly professional.  The crew chief, Roderick, was very professional and answered all of my questions.  Being a very curious person, I know I annoyed the crew with my constant questions, all of which were answered very politely and in great detail -- you could tell the pride these folks took in their work.  Everything that was promised was delivered (so far, one more step to go).  The cleanup was great!  It took two days and each day when calling it quits, they cleaned up nicely and left everything nice and neat.  They repointed the brickwork and checked the doors -- all working fine.  An overall excellent experience.
