Write a ReviewWhat they did, they did very good. I wish they would have been more upfront about my electrical problems. Now they have to do electric work which will cost more than the original work. The guys had already cut a hole through my living room wall when they finally brought it up, so it was too late to turn back on the original installation. They are going to have to redo the entire electrical system involved.
They took the time to be well thought out in each portion of this project. They were accurate, and created an excellently mounted system, properly secured and insulated. The results are 'picture worthy'. They are respectful of me and my property, clean and tidy. I highly recommend Kirk and Frank, they are well seasoned and have between them over 50 years of experience that it is evident in their quality of work.
We couldn't have hoped for a better experience. You cannot run a business in the summer without a working air conditioner. They got in and diagnosied that the compressor was bad. The cost for a new one was quite high and the existing air conditioner was already 13 years old and was not to current code. Another company said it would take up to three weeks to get the parts in but Roth located a vendor (Carrier) that could get the parts in within a week. Permits and a crane to remove the old air conditional from the roof also had to be secured. And, they had to work around an open veterinary hospital. They did all of this in a highly professional manner, disrupting business very little. The staff are thrilled. And the pets are having a party! We can put all the fans away. Rolf was the go to guy that made it all happen. Thanks from all of us at Murrayhill Vet!
Everything went very smoothly. All the Roth's people I spoke to or dealt with were friendly and helpful. We are very happy with the new heat pump and furnace and are very satisfied with all the work done by Roth Heating and Cooling.
Called to ask a few question about their work which has been done at our place. The conversation didn't go well at all. In fact, the representative on the phone hung up on us when we asked for his supervisor. Very poorly handled. Worst customer service ever!! Guess they don't treat their customers well once they receive payment.
The technician called multiple times during the two visits to try to increase the cost of the repairs. Â When he was done, we have an agreement with them that they call us tell us the work is done and then ask us how we will pay for the work, Â The technician didn't call to tell us he was done. Â Roth Heating and Cooling took a credit card that we had used to pay for a prior repair and they kept it on file, without our permission, and they used it without authorization. Â The technician was also supposed to call us with the details of a new furnace, which he did not. Â Many phone calls later, many complaints later, one office staff hung up on me. I finally was able to reach the owner, owner for 25 years and complained to him, he didn't really know what to do or say. Â He said he was sorry but made no suggestions for any type of accommodation off the bill, which was paid for already. Â Eventually I told him his sorry was not sufficient, I had to ask him for a discount on the bill. Â We had contacted American Express to file a complaint. Â The charges were reversed. Â Roth and I settled the bill for 20% less. Â The owner agreed to send me an estimate of the cost of a new furnace, he sent me a e-mail with a two different price ranges, no details, no efficiency ratings, no name of a system, just two prices. Â Roth Heating and cooling does not value it's customers. Â They were not interested in doing any future business with us, especially after that kind of poor customer service. Â Do not do business with them.
I can't stress how professional the entire team was from start to finish. This was no small job, they came in with tarps, vacuums and bootys on there feet. The furnaces were gone before we knew it. When they left that night, you wouldn't know they had been there. They returned to start the fun part new duct work under the house. While others were busy in the garage cutting hole in the concrete. They never left a mess, very polite to be around. They completed our job a day ahead of schedule! They also do work at our rental properties, always the same very professional, and on time.  Â
Good installation they were in and out in a couple of days.
He was super nice, really communicative, and helpful. He told me about a couple of things that could be an issue in the future for me and were't pushy about selling additional services or parts. He just wanted me to be aware of them and told me what they might cost in the future. He did offer me an extended service plan, but he just left the paperwork with me. He said if I was interested in it I could call and get more information or send in the paperwork. The communication level was above and beyond. It was definitely the best experience I've had compared to any other heating or cooling provider. I thought the price was pretty average and didn't feel any
It is a relief when a company does a good job and when a mistake is made they are not resistent in admitting it and providing adequate relief. Â People aren't perfect and so things obviously happen. Â If I have any future HVAC needs, I will definitely know who to call.
