Recently, Roth has switched to a monthly payment plan rather than paying once a year. I can understand why they want to do this, as it gives them a more predictable cash flow. However, the only payment options they will accept are to withdraw money from my checking account, or charge my credit card. I refuse to give them access to my financial information, but offered to pay them using automatic bill pay. I left a phone message with their company for someone to call me back, and never got a call. I sent an email to the technician who worked on my house last week, and what follows is an excerpt from that email: I have been happy with the major installations and scheduled maintenance, and would prefer to remain a customer, but not under the terms you have offered. There’s a pertinent quote on your website from the president of your company: “Every decision we make should be checked against our purpose. If it’s not improving our lives, or the lives of our customers, we shouldn’t do it.” I understand that having a predictable source of income is important to your company, but the payment mechanism required for the new service agreement is not in the best interest of your customers. Please forward my comments to the appropriate managers for their consideration. Thank you. That email was sent to them 9 days ago, and has failed to generate any response at all. Obviously, they don't care about their customers. Too bad, but I will be going elsewhere for service
After I left my review yesterday (9/9/16) I received a call from "Jay", he apologized for not responding to my two previous telephone calls, and, one e-mail message, saying he did call me back, and left a message on a voice mail. When I said I never received the message, he said he must have dialed my phone number incorrectly? Once we got through that issue, he said the only other payment option he was authorized to extend, other than either monthly charges to my credit card, or, monthly withdrawals from my checking account, was that I could purchase a prepaid credit card from my bank for the total amount of my yearly heating and cooling service costs, contact them, giving them the prepaid credit card number, and they would deduct monthly, the prorated costs for the yearly services. This procedure would have to be redone yearly. So, to obtain continued services from their company, I am either required to give them my financial, and/or, banking information, or, purchase a prepaid credit card. These payment options seem very short sighted, and after being a loyal customer for 20+ years, I think I will research other companies to perform my heating/ cooling work going forward.

Quick scheduling. Arrived at the appointed time. Very knowledgeable on the installation of the hot water tank works. was able to explain in detail what I needed to know. Removed Old hot water tank and cleaned up the worksite area. Sure was a very pleasant service man you know. Oh, I love the new hot water tank!
