Reviews
Write a ReviewIt was fortunate that I hired Earthwise Heating and Cooling in that they found the condenser for my heat pump was about to go out, right when we had 84 degree weather! They also suggested I put in an attic fan because of the heat in the attic during the summer weather. They installed a solar powered attic fan which works great and is so quiet you don't notice it. They were also able to cure the smoke odor problem by installing an ultra violet light in the system. They were very professional and knowledgable. Excellent clean up after the job was completed.
Great company. Will use them in the future if needed
Too expensive, Technician talked too much while working about personal opinions unrelated to the job. Tech did not do a a complete job and his diagnosis about certain wires was incorrect.
The unit was broken when the tech arrived. When he finished the unit ran like it should. If there was a problem the homeowner should have called. It was a real rat's nest of wiring problem. Someone else had wired it wrong.
He was very nice, and we now have heat.
Phone contact with Steve as I was out of town. Pictures of furnace emailed, responsive to my calls and was patient with my questions.
They were super fast. I put the request in at 7:50 pm and got a call at 8. And a tech was at my house at 7:30 the next morning.
Was told there be some follow up to install extra straps on vent piping. Have yet to hear from them.
They me the best that I could afford plus some. They did all this in a timely manner. I signed the contract on wed. had heat on fri.
I hired Earthwise to perform the work, they ended up hiring On Demand Heating and cooling to install the furnace & AC unit. Marc from On Demand was very through and informative about the install and the unit.Marc called Steve at Earthwise to let him know we needed a new base pan. Without speaking to us about it Steve went to purchase one and then came over to us and said "oh this is $350 dollars on top of the already signed contract amount. Well that is not how you aproach a home owner with an extra cost.He also did not check in during the job. He only called to collect the balance.
The installer pointed out to the husband that the base can was nearly rusted through when the furnace was removed. It would need to be replaced. If it wasn't the new furnace would not have proper support. The old base can was difficult to remove and concrete had to be chipped out. It took an extra 2 hours of work. When I arrived with the base can Kristi totally went off on me yelling. Her husband had the conversation with the installer and had watched the installer working on the furnace. He just sat there and didn't say a word. I brought the base can over immediately. To say that they weren't notified is absurd. The husband was standing right there.
They were very prompt to respond to the need. They came in Monday, installed on Tuesday, we were cool on Wednesday-during the heat wave. They had to come back to reverse the unit so that was unfortunate but they were so nice and helpful every step was great.
