I explained the problem to Tommy and he gave me a quote right over the phone. The most convenient time for me was Christmas Eve, since I would be off. Terry came out promptly Christmas Eve morning. He replaced the faucet and the pipe through the outside wall. He sealed the new frost free faucet. He did it all in less than an hour and a half. He was courteous and professional the entire time. I told him that I didn't mind if he left his boots on in the house, but he took them off, when not walking in the unfinished part of the basement anyway."

"I have been using McCarthy Heating & Air Conditioning Inc. for over 10 years and have always been happy with their service. Today's service call was no different. The job today required coordination with my condo management company (also very good), to shut the water off to several buildings, so that a valve could be replaced under my kitchen sink. Obviously, one of the objectives was to keep the water off for as short a period as possible and give people as precise a time as possible when to expect the water to be off and back on. You can imagine how many things could go wrong? How long this could take if anything went wrong? Nothing did. The job was done expertly and quickly. The water was off for a very short time. "Outdoor faucet was spraying water every which way - everywhere but where we wanted it. Not an emergency, though, as the faucet turned off OK. Based on good reviews shown in Home Advisor, we called Priority One Plumbing for assistance. Made an appointment and was told a plumber would be at our home between 1 and 4 PM on the day of my choosing. In my experience, that usually means someone will show up a bout 3:59 (or later). Not this time. Plumber Paul contacted me on cell phone shortly before 1 PM and was on-scene about 15 min later. He quickly looked at the problem, determined the faucet needed to be replaced, and within a few mins provided a cost estimate. We gave the go-ahead and he went right to work. Work was done professionally and quickly, and all the while he was friendly and outgoing, explaining what he was doing at each step. We are extremely satisfied with Paul's work in particular and Priority One's overall responsiveness and courtesy. Well Done! We'll definitely use them again!."

"We were very pleased with the service Aquaguard provided us. The inspector spent time explaining our problem and really worked out a price we could live with. We had many companies out each giving their views, we decided to spend a little more with Aquaguard due to their 20 years of experience and knowledge. The crew arrived and went right to work. "He responded quickly and noticed that my water heater was only 3 years old. He contacted the provider and not only got it replaced at no cost...which involved getting a local retailer to forego the price for my model which they no longer carried. Speaking on my behalf was above and beyond what i would have ever expected him to do. His price was fair and he came out on the weekend. He corrected installation errors from the previous installer and was available to me after the install should i have questions. "My main water supply pipe had burst so I called multiple companies. Faruk was the first to respond and show up on a weekend to inspect the damage and provide an estimate. Things I like about this company: 1. They were extremely responsive to my needs and questions 2. They honored their estimate even though there were a couple of unforeseen obstacles which increased the length of the project and possibly the cost to them 3. They negotiated the estimate lowering it considering my situation 4. They took care of all permits and inspections 5. They cleaned up after the project was done to the best of their abilities 6. They were upfront and honest about the damage to my lawn due to excavations 7. They were very courteous and professional Things they could improve: 1. The project took a little longer than anticipated. A lot of their work was manual which could have been fast tracked with the use of machinary i.e. digging etc. 2. We replaced the entire main pipe assuming that it was defective/polybutelene pipe since it was underground and flooded. We layer found out it was not the case but they proceeded anyway rather than fixing the broken length. While I think it was probably the safest choice it may not have been necessary and they never brought it up later."

"My tech was quick to point out some rather glaring issues that were difficult to rationalize. I immediately recalled a prior summertime repair from a different company whereby my system was deemed to be at the end of its useful life. Two wires (yes two) were found unconnected at the safety pressure switch. A toggle switch on the Trane Gas valve was found in the off position also. This system will go another ten years, I'm convinced of that, but it appears this Vienna, VA outfit felt that they could make the case with dubious business practices."
