When I had to replace my collapsing orangeburg sewer pipe in my front yard, I dreaded the cost, so I sent Requests For Bidss to four of the most popular companies that do this. John, the main man at 1Stop Mechanical came right out to my house to size up the job and bid almost half of what the other companies were asking. On "Dig Day" they dug carefully with their backhoe and used shovels at critical points so they wouldn't damage a nearby sidewalk nor my water line that crossed the right over my sewer line. They started at 8 AM and by 11 AM the new sewer pipe was in and connected. They really know their stuff. It took about an hour for the county inspector to come, and then they replaced the dirt, and spread seed and straw. All done in one day. They fixed what needed to be fixed and didn't try to upsell me. Dawn, their scheduler is super responsive and understands customers' needs. Even John's competitors speak highly of him. "John's good folks. He'll take good care of you".

We had a leak under our slab but not sure where exactly. They were diligent in problem solving and finding ways to fix the problem with minimal disruption, unlike the rip-and-replace proposals from other contractors we considered. The owner was always onsite and they were a great crew. Plan to use for future plumbing needs.

I had a large sewer line replacement project. Tree roots had broken into the line and completely blocked it. I had 3 plumbers try to snake the line with a camera and all 3 could only get so far due to the roots. I was pretty scared of the scope of the work because we had no way to tell if it went out to the street or not. Out of all the estimates I received, I felt best about the team at 1Stop. It was clear that they did work in my neighborhood (Ballston) and that they knew exactly what the problem was and how to treat it. They were able to give me a flat rate for the job, which no other estimate could do. Came out to the house and had the entire job done in a single day. Price was very fair and their expertise was unmatched. If you need a company for a sewer line replacement, you should absolutely reach out to them.

1stopmechanical responded quickly to my request for quote of sewer line inspection. Upon inspection, the sewer line from the house to main sewer line had to be replaced. They provided a reasonable quote and completed the installation of the sewer line within 2 days. They were very professional and I would recommend them for any plumbing service.
