"I hired this company to replace the water pipe throughout my house, and was extremely pleased with their expertise and efficiency. The work required holes being cut into the walls and ceiling, which they did with the least disruption, and cleaned up afterwards. A company drywall expert then patched all the holes beautifully. Head office kept me informed throughout, as to when their employees would arrive, and were always cheerful and helpful. The plumbers themselves were friendly and courteous. "The major issue-- the clog of shower drain was rodded out promptly. I also requested that he assess a toilet that sometimes needs "help" (a plunger to increase the pressure head) to flush. His assessment was that the toilet flushes about as well as can be expected given the age of the toilet. After some "testing" I agreed that no rodding was needed-- saving me money. (He gave me guidance on buying a new toilet and his price for installation and hauling away the old toilet). He also asked to inspect water heater. He discovered a failed thermal expansion tank which needed replacement. He also discovered the age of the hot water heater (on nameplate). Based upon its age, he recommended replacement "sooner rather than later" and provided estimate. My impression: this is a knowledgeable plumber who enjoys educating his customers and wants to proactively serve their plumbing needs."

Someone from the company called me back almost immediately and walked through shutting off water/gas to the tank and getting the tank draining outside.
