I needed a 3 story tree removed between 2 houses and against a block fence. They plucked it with a crane, chipped it and cleaned up, all in less than an hour. They also have $2M in liability insurance that you can request to be an insured party on for one day, which I did. I got a 2nd quote that was $300 less but they were not going to use a crane and they didn't have insurance. Design Tree was worth the extra $300.

The arborist was professional and knowledgeable. An appointment was scheduled quickly and the crew was fast and worked well together. They pruned and shaped 2 trees to help them stay healthy and grow well. There was one problem with the payment but the office was responsive and resolved it immediately. I think they will be my company of choice for care for my trees in the future.

ARBORIST PREPARING QUOTE AND PROPOSED YARD CLEANUP IN ADDITION TO TREE TRIM, AS A MEANS TO KEEP HIS CREWS BUSY DURING WHAT HE CALLED A SLOW SERVICE SPELL. HE OMITTED DETAIL THAT CAUSED ISSUES AT TIME OF SERVICE WHERE WORK WAS NOT COMPLETED AS PROPOSED. SERVICE CREW WORKED WITH FRONT OFFICE TO RESOLVE ISSUE AND APPEARED COMPLETE AS ORIGINALLY PROPOSED BY ARBORIST. 6 WEEKS LATER THIS PROPERTY, WHICH IS PRIMARILY LANDSCAPE STONE SPREAD OVER PLASTIC SHEET UNDERLAYMENT/WEED BARRIER, IS NOW HEAVILY OVERGROWN WITH GRASS AND WEEDS. WTF?!? THIS IMPLIES THAT WORKERS APPARENTLY SPREAD GRASS SEED AS A FINAL F-U TO ME FOR DEMANDING THAT THE JOB BE FINISHED AS ORIGINALLY QUOTE. THIS IS A FIRST SINCE I CONVERTING FRONT YARD IN 2000 FROM SODDED TO STONE. ETHICAL? I DONT THINK SO! DO NOT RECOMMEND HIRING THIS COMPANY.
