"I reached out to Vince after reading through numerous reviews of plumbers and am very happy I gave him a call. I had used another company to do a "service" on my oil boiler that had become very inefficient...$200 later with them telling me it was all fixed, nothing changed. I called Vince, described the symptoms, and he was able to fit me into his schedule the next day. Turns out I needed a new boiler and Vince was able to show me in 5 minutes why (VERY obvious), where as the previous guy had spent two hours accomplishing nothing and taking my money. I took this opportunity to convert to gas and Vince walked me through my options, provided two estimates within 24 hours based on different units, and was able to start work in 2 days. He was clear, great at communicating and responding to questions, and priced very fair. No one wants to hear the fun news of a boiler replacement, but I am glad I got in touch with Vince before I got stuck with no heat in the middle of winter. Vince gave me great advice on how to maintain the new unit, best practices, and things to check up on regularly. He took my calls a week after he was done when I had some follow-up questions for him and backs his work-up for a year after the new install. Overall A+."

"I searched for someone to install a kitchen faucet and repair a leaking sink drain pipe, Dave responded immediately to my inquiry and he was able to send a plumber right over. I had not purchased the new faucet as of our call and he advised me to call him when I returned home which I did. Mike was dispatched to my home in less than 30 minutes!!!! The job was quickly completed and I am more than extremely satisfied. Mike was very professional and thoroughly knowledgeable in his work. UPDATE FOR 02/09/17 I hired Palmasano Plumbing a couple of months ago and I found them to be a great company to work with, ( see my review for that project), so when I noticed a leak dripping from my ceiling without hesitation I called Dave and told him of my problem he assured me someone would respond to my home within an hour. True to his word Mike arrived which was great as he had completed my last project, he went right to work checking all avenues which might be causing the leak. He quickly found the problem and repaired it quickly, he took great pains to limit the debris field and completely cleaned the area. "Working with DJ from Groundworks (Select Basement) has been an outstanding experience. After struggling with various contractors who either failed to resolve our water issues or were unprofessional, DJ and his team truly stood out. DJ was incredibly helpful, patient, and responsive throughout the entire process. Our home is a ranch with 225 linear feet around the perimeter, and while other contractors insisted on installing a French drain for the entire length, DJ recommended a more targeted approach. He proposed installing the French drain for just 80 linear feet, focusing only on the areas where water intrusion was likely. His thorough explanations and prompt responses to all our questions were greatly appreciated. The workers arrived on time, maintained a clean work environment, and completed the job as promised. "We had an emergency repair in our house we recently moved into, consisting of a toilet that had apparently never been caulked and had loosened from the floor to the point of leaking a little when it flushed. Tom Evans called shortly after I submitted the request, and he and his partner Jerry showed up within twenty minutes after that and were finished with the job in under an hour. They had everything it needed on their truck - a new wax ring, new plastic shims to replace the wooden ones that had been there previously, and a new caulk job. The toilet flushes fine with no leaks, and it's now very sturdy and not going anywhere. Based on this experience, I would use Tom's Plumbing and Heating again, and would highly recommend them to others."

"I started having a sewage smell over three years ago. The smell would come, and we would pour clorox in the drain and it would let up for a while; we did this for two years. In the last year we contacted two plumbing companies, who came out and suggested that we place a drain clearer in the drain. In the last month, the smell came back really bad and we started smelling it everyday (the smell was making me sick). I went to Angi list and was contacted by Drain Logic. The young man came out and went into our bathroom; after he flushed the toilet, he knew the issue right away. He said you need a Trap under the tub. I asked him, how was he able to diagnose the issue so quickly; he said Experience. Mind you, that I have had two other companies come out, without ever diagnosing this issue. He was able to place a trap under our tub and we will not have to worry about the awful smell again. Thank you Drain Logic-Twindol Prater."

"Sam and his team did a great job in getting the entire air conditioning system in top shape for a 10,000 sq ft house. His work involved repairing one of our air conditioning condensers, replacing two condensers, and servicing the three other machines. He also replaced all of the 30 year old thermostats/temperature control systems. The house was blisteringly cold when I got back from work; in contrast, it was basically a sauna before I had left. Sam does a lot of the work himself when my mom saw them work. He seems to be very detail and quality oriented. We are hoping to use his company for the various buildings/properties that my parents own ! Highly recommended!!"

"I'm not a review writing person, but I will make an exception here. First of all, the salesperson, Steve was awesome. He explained everything to the detail. It also helps that First choice offers two year no interest financing. The work crew came in on Monday morning, twenty minutes before they said they would. I have a big basement, it took them two days from start to finish. When they were done, one of the guys gave me a walk around explaining everything. Boy, my basement never looked so clean and good. They were very professional, quick and left the basement immaculate. Highly appreciated. And here's the thing, the very next Sunday thru Monday, we had a rain storm and my basement was dry as a bone. I could actually see the water as it was coming out of the pipe outside my house from the sump pump. It's been predicted that this Sunday - Monday we're gonna have a worse rainstorm than last week. I can't wait Overall, I would give this company a plus ten !"

"My home warranty contracted out the job to Phase II. Robert came to troubleshoot a 30+ year old AC unit and was very honest about everything he found faulty. He was instrumental in convincing the warranty company to replace the entire condenser unit rather than continue putting band-aid fixes to this ancient unit. Few weeks after he replaced the unit that cools the upstairs, the other unit that cools the downstairs fails as well (also over 30 years old). Since he was already familiar with everything, the second unit was replaced as soon as weather permitted. I didn't even have to be home the second time since the work was outside anyway. The promptness of his repairs can not be overstated. He helped get us back up and running as soon as the parts were available on the next clear day, which we couldn't be more appreciative since we have both a toddler and infant at home. Also, this was during a heatwave when most of the week was 90+. On top of this, my son's 1st birthday party was coming up and we needed the AC back asap. We can't recommend Rob and Phase II enough, a true professional"
