Reviews
Write a ReviewBuyer beware!! DO NOT use Rite Window & Bath Slapdash Installation Faulty shower design, poor workmanship, as well as mismatched and defective Kohler products. The Rite Window and Bath managers demonstrated little respect, were dismissive of our concerns, and minimized the structural flaws and poor workmanship. When it was apparent Rite Window and Bath were not going to adequately address our concerns, we filed a complaint with Kohler Customer Care. The result of their investigation resulted in the removal of the shower and reinstall with a new design. While the reinstalled shower design is better than the original, it is still far from quality workmanship.
Brian came to our home to do a tub to shower installation. He was very respectful and reviewed what he would be doing. The project was completed within the time frame we were told. Again, he reviewed what he had done and how to properly care for the shower. It really looks great and we are looking forward to using it. Thank you Brian and rite window team. My husband described the 3 employees who came to replace windows, a slider, and storm door as the B team and felt he had to keep an eye on what they were doing. They even came to the job site needing to charge tool batteries and asked where they could plug in the charger! They had a devil of a time removing the old slider and had to take a sawzall to it, as well as pounding away at it. One worker smoked cigarettes the entire time and our house smelled of second hand smoke for 2 days after (we do not smoke). I would hope the management addresses that issue. If a worker wants to smoke in/by the truck In the drive we have no problem with that. The finish work once the slider was installed is second rate and have seen many other reviews elsewhere regarding this issue. It is so bad, we cannot paint the wall and new trim until we finish scraping down the rough caulking that was applied and sand. Unfortunately, when they installed the slider, they fit one side, but there was a 1/2 or more gap on the side you see most. They filled it with caulking, and we are now trying to fix it, but it is a bigger job than first anticipated. When installing the storm door, they peeled paint off on the surrounding trim (our house was recently painted in May) exposing the wood, so we need to sand and repaint those areas. Former screw holes from where they removed the prior door were not filled, and trim pieces and excess screws were left on the landing. Cleanup was minimal. Our deck was a mess and we needed to sweep and then hose down after. Inside, dust was everywhere as well as bits and pieces that required vacuuming. For the price we paid we are disappointed with the quality. Prior, we had an Anderson slider and the difference in materials was marked. The RW slider screen weighs perhaps 2 lbs. whereas our Anderson slider felt substantial and 3x stronger. The latch is so shallow, there is almost no room for a finger and makes it difficult to open easily. The Anderson was finished off where the locking mechanism was, and all you saw was an opening where the lock was, whereas the Rite Window is an open channel with the entire metal piece is exposed. I suppose it saves money, but looks unfinished and cheap. Also, when the door is opened fully, it rises out of the track, and does not slide as easily as we expected it would. We are disappointed with our purchase and felt for over $6K, quality and install would have been better. It seems others have had a good experience, but based on ours, we wouldn't rehire or recommend.
I have to say that Matt, Dave and Rich were amazing! They were professional, friendly and cleaned up after themselves! I will tell anyone I know looking for windows to call Rite Window for sure. Happy customer Darlene
All staff and workers were polite and respectful. The work area was cleaned up and the work was done very well.
What an outstanding company, easy to work with, very professional and courteous. Very detail oriented and kept my property clean. I couldn't have picked a better vinyl siding company.
I had a good experience. The price was good for the door and the company has good customer service. I had to have them come back 2 times to touch up a couple things on the door/molding, but they were glad to come out and assist.
They installed some windows and vinyl siding on my home. They were very professional, communicative, paid great attention to detail, and left the work site clean. Definitely worth the investment.
