    Hank at Southern Services was quick and professional. I do wish that my plumbing emergency had occurred on a weekday, because their weekend rate is pretty high at $125 for the visit and first hour of labor. Overall a good experience.

    Hank delivered on his word. He arrived on site when he promised and made sure that everything was working properly before he left. He was very friendly and knowable. He made recommendations to me on how to keep my water heater working at peak performance. I would use Hank's services again.

    I am the new pastor and needed to find someone who could replace our leaking hot water heater. Hank did an outstanding job, was on the site before time and stayed to insure that the tank performed properly. He also exceeded our expectations in that I asked if he could place some fire alarm covers (mind you this was not in the original job) and he happily did it. This is service above and beyond what we expected!! Great job, would highly recommend for any project large or small!!

    My way-too-busy school teacher daughter needed her water heater replaced. Living in VA, my ability to help was limited to anything I could find online. I stumbled upon HomeAdvisor at 8:00 p.m. on a Wednesday and literally 5 minutes after hitting submit, I received a call from the owner of Southern Service! It happened that he had a job in East Nashville, not too far from my daughter's condo the next day. After inspecting the unit, he deemed it needed replacement (as we had already suspected) and on Friday, he installed the new unit for a very fair price. My daughter was thrilled with his professionalism and his workmanship and how quickly he was able to fit her in to his schedule. Not to mention a few tips he provided to her including how to drain and refill the tank annually. I also had the opportunity to speak to Hank several times both before and after he provided the service and was very impressed and fully trusted him to give my kid a fair deal. I highly recommend him if you need any water heater repair or replacement work done.

    Arrived at designated time. Hank discovered additional problem that needed replacement and he drove me to Home Depot to buy replacement part. Very friendly and courteous. Highly recommend Hank for all your repair jobs.
