Reviews
Write a ReviewMike gave us a great quote, and sent us a fantastic team to tear down and haul away our old deck and pergola, then rebuild a new TimberTech deck for us. We were so impressed with his team who worked tirelessly over two weeks to get the job done from start to finish, including a pristine cleanup. Absolutely thrilled with our final project and can't wait to get out and live on it this summer! We highly recommend Mike and Revive Remodeling!
Steve and Adam did a wonderful job rebuilding our Deck with the Timbertech product. Deck is sturdier than ever before and their precision in the product installation was noteworthy. I would highly recommend them. Value added pricing and customer service for sure.
Great job!!
Always arrived on time. Worked great. I am so pleased with the professional workers. I highly recommend.
Revive failed to provide the services as agreed and violated several Ohio construction laws. 1) Revive demanded a $5,400 deposit, which is twice the $2,700, 10% maximum required by Ohio law; 2) After jackhammering my basement floor and filling it with trash, debris and water, Revive demanded I pay them $5,450 in estimated permits, tests and materials for Nick of McDaniel Plumbing which is not part of our contract. Given how Revive had torn up my basement, I felt forced to pay the $5,450 for Revive to repair my basement and complete the project. Immediately after I paid it, Revive said McDaniel was not going to do the plumbing. I asked for a refund, and Revive refused to pay it. Then Revive said they had decided to walk off the project if I did not pay him similar estimates for their HVAC and Electrical subcontractors. I said that was not in our contract and that I would not pay it. He also said he was not going to honor the $750 plumbing allowance or meet me at Menards or Home Depot to select the other plumbing materials listed in our contract. Due to Revive's fraudulent bait and switch extortion scheme, and its failure to perform the services as promised, I terminated the contract and demanded a refund of my $12,865.80. Revive refused to refund my money. Revive's foreman asked for his tools. I asked for his address so that I could have the tools delivered to the foreman. Neither Revive nor the foreman would provide the delivery address. Instead, Revive said he was going to charge me an additional $2,000 that I did not owe for his foreman's tools. Since terminating Revive for cause, I have found several other violations of Ohio construction law and Ohio consumer protection laws that Revive violated.
Fence company of Columbus came out on June 20, 2025 to install approximately 88 foot of cedar picket fence. Their original install took somewhere between six and eight hours. We had them return July 28, 2025 to correct some issues with the gate. It was leaning. It was not closing correctly and the main post had split. At that time we paid them in full in August I started texting and emailing Brian that the gate was leaning again. The main post holding the gate up was not level in the gate was pulling away from the house he ignored me or promised to come out and then would never show. I continued to try and get a hold of him with no answer at the beginning of September. I did a Google review. It was not pretty, but everything was truthful at the end of August he called me more concerned about his bad review than about trying to correct my problems. He again promised to come out. It was the Friday before Labor Day and again did not show on September 29. I emailed him trying to come to a resolution and did not hear back from him until the deadline we gave him of October 15 at that point around 1 o clock I believe in the afternoon he texted me to say we can stop by today. Me and my husband had prior plans the evening of the 15th. I emailed him again and informed him that we did have another fence company come out and look at the fence and tell us what was wrong and how much it would cost to fix it. Attached will be a copy of that not only is the gate installed wrong with only one post. They stated it should have two all the stringers for the fence are interior grade 2 x 4 and not pressure treated pine that is rated for outdoor use. Those will all have to be replaced the quote from the second company to fix everything that s wrong would be $3492.
Did a great job building a deck last year.
The guys who put the deck up were amazing they did a very nice job
The railing is up but it was a rough experience
We were excited to have sign a contract with Revive to install a fence. We were quoted to be installed in 4 weeks. They said they would take care of permits for us. Sounds great right? Periodically, I would check in to make sure there was nothing else we needed to do. Many times I was told everything was fine and they should be reaching out ?soon? to schedule installation, but no one ever did. Finally, at 4.5 weeks I reached out expressing concern that we weren?t even scheduled for an installation date since we were already past the time quoted for the project to be finished. I decided to call Grove City to ask about the licensing of this company only to find out that there licensed was revoked in Grove City all the way back in 2018. They signed a contract and took a $2000 down payment for a fence installation where KNEW they weren?t licensed to perform work. I spoke with Grove City and they said they will be filing a lawsuit with the Mayors court. STAY AWAY FROM REVIVE!
